Bought this as a gift for my husband to wear with a medal and he seems to really like it. He doesn't like the feel of chains around his neck and the soft leather cord is smooth, appears well made, and he says it is comfortable to wear. Clasp is secure and helps create a seamless shape. So far it is holding up well and looks really nice on him. Really happy with it.

I ordered custom with my boyfriend's name engraved on the clasp. He had broke the previous necklace he wore his ring on, this one is much better quality than his old one and the clasp is super easy and very secure. He works a freight job and hasn't had any issues with it falling off or fraying. Would definitely reorder if I had to with this great price point. UPDATE: This necklace cord is amazing! He lost it while unloading a truck last night and when I came into work today and started looking for it, the cord was under a pallet. The clasp still works perfectly, just wiped it down with some disinfectant and it's good as new! I'm kinda surprised it took this long for it to come off with the work he does, DEFINITELY worth the purchase.

I guess I should have read the description more closely. Note it says “waxed”, which I didn’t think much of at the time. But it’s very shiny, and does not feel or look like leather because the wax makes it shiny and slippery. Still nice, made well, secure latch mechanism. Just not what I was looking for.
