These fit well. My child uses them for gym and for dressing up for an orchestra concert. They are basic shoes but they get the job done.

These barefoot shoes are lightweight and comfortable to wear, easy to slip on and off, and have a casual but stylish appearance. Lately I go for a 42 EU sizing because non-American manufacturers seem to have difficulty understanding typical U.S. sizing. So I went with an "8 wide" because that's what the sizing chart suggest for a 42 EU. (Typically, 42 EU would pair with U.S. 9 men's.) These 8 wides fit great. The wide toebox is standard with most barefoot shoes, and for a reason. It allows your toes to spread naturally as you walk and won't bunch them up like other styles of shoe. The toebox on this pair of shoes seems just right for me. These are definitely a casual shoe, best for summer or spring. They make a great shoe to slip on for a quick outing to the supermarket, or to wear around the house casually.

These shoes are not amazing quality, but get the job done. They don't provide a ton of arch support or comfort for long walking/running use. They are, however, perfect if you need a pair of house shoes or simple footwear for stationary gym equipment use. For example, I wear a muddy pair of shoes to get to the gym and then swap them out with these shoes for my workout on the erg, bikes, or weights. They're convenient to slip on, fit well in my gym bag, and keep me from tracking in a bunch of mud. I do wish the loop on the heel was slightly bigger so I could more easily get my finger in to pull them on one-handed. Overall decent shoes for casual use only.

At one point many years ago my wife took to wearing aquasocks as normal shoes because they were very light, fit tightly to the foot, and gave her a barefoot sensation. That was one of the first things that came to mind as I opened the box and pulled out these shoes. They are featherlight, and despite having no rigid structures on them, offer pretty good support. I was surprised how much cushion the soles had; I had imagined a very hard, no-give feeling. We went for a short two-mile walk on pavement and I forgot they were there. In my mind this is one of the highest compliments a shoe can get. There were zero hot spots, chafes, rubs, or weird feelings. Just 100% enjoying the walk. At this price point I worry about how long they will last, but so far these are fantastic shoes that I will be wearing a lot, and not just for walking.
