For the first pair I ordered, I chose the size I normally wear (10 1/2)and they turned out to be a bit too small in length - and I use a lift in the left shoe and the height of that shoe was also too tight. I'm thankful the return was free shipping and I was amazed at how Amazon credited my account as soon as UPS picked up the package. Amazon customer service is excellent! Anyway... back to the story. I then ordered a size 11 and the shoes fit perfectly. The shoes look nice, they are comfortable and seem to be sturdy and the price was great. I had to warm up to these shoes. Due to a specific problem, my foot doctor recommended something of this style with an insert. The shoes were a bit wide for me and the slipping of my foot in them bothered me. I compensated with thicker socks and it was much better. The build was good in my humble opinion, and I liked that they looked like casual shoes, not orthopedic or cheap. I'd buy again. ... show more

These have lasted a surprisingly long time. They are comfortable and help with some foot discomfort that has developed in the past year. They have better arches than typical dress casual shoes. If I can find these on sale again I will buy a couple more pairs.

I found the back of the shoe rubbed the back of my heal causing a hot spot pretty quickly just walking around the living room. I also found the food bed was not that comfortable. Best walking shoes I've ever owned! get them a 1/2 to full size larger than you wear, I absolutely love them, I keep them in the front of our Van as we travel & I drive a lot to wear while driving, they are great for this purpose & walking when we stop.
