    • Weightless, sheer, not greasy formula!
I have tried an embarrassing amount of sunscreens from both high end brands sold at places like Sephora and Nordstrom to dermatologist brands to drugstore brands. This cerave sunscreen is literally perfect. For reference I am in my 30s with fair skin and combo skin. For reference I do not like the other cerave mineral sunscreens. They are extremely white. I do like the cerave ultra light daily moisturizer with spf 30 (I think it’s called) but it’s not waterproof. Here are the reasons why I love it SO much: -waterproof! (Lasts longer during a hot summer day AND I can wear it to the pool/beach with the kids. Truly a do it all sunscreen!) -wears really well under makeup -not greasy or oily -no white cast or film -cosmetically elegant -not drying and provides some moisture -didn’t cause sensitivity, acne or eye burning -i can even put it on my kids without them complaining -feels silky soft and weightless. Truly one of a kind. -cerave is a brand I trust -great mix of zinc and chemical active ingredients for effective protection -great for my combo skin -affordable, decent amount of product -convenient squeeze bottle that doesn’t leak I’m so glad I found this! The #1 reason why I love this is because I trust the protection of cerave and it wears beautifully under makeup! The only thing I can think that would make this better would be if it was a spf 50 but it’s perfect otherwise. I’ve already worn it to the pool and it preforms really well, even on a really hot day being outside for a long time! I live in south Texas. This is literally one of the only sunscreens my husband can stand wearing on his face. So it’s man approved for men who hate wearing sunscreen lol! I didn’t even realize it was labeled for face and body. Ive only been wearing it on my face, neck and chest. I need a bigger bottle for whole body application as we go swimming a lot!     • My holy grail SPF
I've tried a TON of sunscreens and different brands, including EltaMD, Supergoop, Neogen, Cosrx, and super spendy ones like Odacite and Barefaced. None felt enjoyable to put on, were either too greasy or too drying, yet I knew it was really important to wear SPF, so I kept trying new ones whenever I ran out. Now I get to stop looking, because this Cerave one has been perfect for my sometimes sensitive combination skin. It has no scent, it's light, and I have noticed no white cast (I have a medium skin tone). And my favorite part is, it doesn't cost a fortune!     • Good for body but not face
I bought this because it was a hybrid sunscreen, but « failed » to consider the « hydrating » factor. It makes my face feel really greasy, especially as it’s necessary to reapply every 2 hours. Moisturizing my face every two hours is way to greasy for me. However, I don’t mind this on my body and could probably use it. PROS -easy to spread -sensation on face disappears after 3-5 min -hybrid CONS -too hydrating for face ( especially given reapplication) Other features: Leaves a moderately shiny finish ( would give a 5.5/10 on a scale of supper matte to super shiny) ... show more

    • Perfect summer sunscreen
I’ve been trying to find a summer sunscreen that’s sheer, non greasy feeling, lightweight and something that doesn’t burn my eyes and this hits all those things. Most sunscreens cause my eyes to burn if it gets even remotely close to my eyes but I’m actually able to use it on my eyelids and I haven’t had any issues yet. The consistency of this sunscreen is like water so you do have to be a bit careful when you squeeze the product out. My only complaint is that I wish it were higher in SPF protection. ... show more

    • Mix of chemical and barrier.
Goes on smooth, quickly absorbed and left no white residue. SPF 30, at the beach for 2.5hrs with an initial and one “booster” application. Only place burned was where we missed rubbing it in. Wish it came on larger bottles and was more affordable… going to cost a fortune coating my family of 6 in this, but we far prefer it to the old chemical reef-killing stuff and it’s much better, silkier and pleasant than the zinc barrier creams like badger and blue lizard that cake you in greasy white goop you have to scrape off with your nails. ... show more

I have always hated wearing face sunscreen everyday because it always felt greasy and left a white cast but this sunscreen does not do that. It’s smooth, doesn’t smell when on your face, lasts a long time, and doesn’t cause any breakouts. I love this sunscreen and will definitely be continuing to use it ... show more

    • How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways! I put a few pea sized drops on a flathead foundation brush, and brush it all over my face, neck, and ears. There is just enough color to cancel out my natural redness, and leave a soft, even, and pretty finish. Most sunscreens sting the living daylights out of me if it gets in my eyes. This one isn't 100% sting free, but at least 50% less stinging than other brands I've tried. ... show more

I usually done use sunscreen on my face because I hate how it feels, i.e., heavy, greasy, etc. But I love this sunscreen. It's light and blends into skin very well. I don't even know it's there.
