  • Perfect for Ceramic Glazes
This is probably the 5th or 6th sprayer I've bought of this brand and model. I work as a ceramic tech in a community college and this is the go-to sprayer for glazes. I love them. They don't last a really long time but I use it hard, probably several times a week! Considering I've gotten more expensive sprayers but I keep going back to this one, that says a lot. Sprays well for ceramic glazes. You can adjust for pretty fine and pretty heavy. I tend to go for the heavier application. Make sure you sieve first and water the glazes down somewhat. That's why you can spray them heavy! Handy Hints: After cleaning by spraying water through, take off the plastic cup, turn it upside down and hit the metal against something forcing any extra glaze out. You'll be surprise how much comes out of your clean(!) sprayer! Once your done with that, add water and blow it out - yes, just pucker and blow! Store it apart so it dries out quickly. It will rust inside pretty fast if you don't. Do not put in a plastic bag! ... show more

  • Great sprayer for the money
I needed this to paint some cabinets I was installing in my kitchen. Not the full cabinets but a few places that I ended up having to cut and trim and then to touch up some areas that didn't come from the factory finished. For the money this is hard to beat. The paint went on well and I'm fully confident that any areas that aren't great looking were totally my fault. It is a pain to clean after each use, but I think that's probably the case with any paint sprayer. I'd get something nicer if I was a pro, but if you need to do a few spray jobs or just use it every now and again it's a great purchase. ... show more

  • Makes upholsry work easy.
I've not used them for paint so I can not attest to that as I have more expensive guns for spray painting. I use them in upholstery work to spray Landau Top and trim with 50-75 psi at the gun these make glue application a breeze.

  • Excellent and a steal at this price!
This has to be the best sprayer on the market for the price. I purchased it after reading a positive review on a blog about it. They used it for Annie Sloan chalk paint, which is also what I wanted to use it for primarily. If you're familiar with AS paint then you know it's rather thick. I can attest that there was no need to water this paint down, and it came through the sprayer like butter! It provides a very smooth finish and blends very well if you touch up or add multiple coats. I have much more expensive spray guns, but this one is truly the best. You will need to purchase the piece that connects the sprayer to an air compressor (about $1 at the hardware store), as that is not included. ... show more

  • Great budget sprayer
Pleased with the quality of the sprayer. Hopefully this will continue as long as I clean it properly when finished with each use.

  • Great little spray gun.
For the price, this spray gun was great! Admittedly, I used this to spray paint an old wrought iron table and chair set. I brought my old spray gun, which had a pressure-feed pot with hoses to the gun-head. I put a small amount of thinner in the pot, hooked up the air hose, and thinner was spraying out all over my driveway! The old hoses were just shot, so I bought this gun, figuring if it worked only this once, that would be great. I cannot say how this would have done on a large flat surface. Would I be able to lay down a nice, even finish? But for spraying Rustoleum flat black on a table and chair set, it was great, and a huge time (and back) saver. My small compressor was rated below the CFM that the gun specified as a minimum, but I went ahead with it anyway. I guess because I applied the finish in short bursts anyway (chair legs, arms, edges, etc.) it kept up fine. For the price, you can't beat it. ... show more
