    • Lovely - just not for me personally.
The positives - I bought this in green, and the colour is beautiful. The fabric is lightweight, but substantial and I saw no issues at all with construction - it's very well made. I'm a size 14/16 with a 42inch bustline (with bra) - and ordered the 3XL. The length of the dress was good - it came to about ankle-bone length on me and i'm 5'5". The top portion, from neck to just below waistline (and sleeves) fit beautifully - just loose enough to be airy/comfy without looking sloppy. My personal take on where it flares out at the hips is that it was just a bit TOO much for me personally. You can play a little with how it sits on the body to not be so poofy at the hipline, but the dress is flowy and will return back to wanting to stick out a bit. I wanted to love this dress - and while there was so much to LIKE about it, I couldn't justify keeping it as I didn't love it. If you're not super hippy, or don't mind "hip attention" depending on how this sits, then this is a win. Also, I didn't see mentioned in the description (maybe I overlooked) but this DOES have pockets. Definitely a plus. :) ... show more

I like the color…linen, light weight and easy to wear and adorn. Laundered on gentle…light iron required! Used to play a role in “The Christmas Carol”. However, looking forward to wear this spring and summer! Very versatile to dress up or down! Great value! Recommend!

    • Stupid tight upper arms
My XL dress upper arms area is 6” smaller than the under the arm seam area - that’s too much !! The arm is not batwing !! It’s not loose fitting ! There should be a disclaimer or a measurement given for upper arm area. The rest of the dress, however, fits so great ! I love the style - the way it poofs , location of the pockets, length, pattern, - I’m sooooo disappointed with the stupid sleeves ! When will China change this pattern flaw which seems to be an overall issue esp if you read product details from most of the vendors in China or where ever someone decided that all American women are apple shaped ! Round in the middle with toothpick arms & legs ! Dresses made in China don’t have darts for my bust - so if my upper arm area is tight & my bust area is “confined “- not too tight - just no wiggle room - you know what I’m talking about - I won’t wear the dress ! I keep purchasing them because Oriental patterns & styles are beautiful & unique! I’ve kept some of them & purchased long super thin Summer/Autumn sweaters to cover the fabric that’s stretched over my upper arms . Occasionallly I get a dress will arms that aren’t too tight - but they usually fit like a caftan. I may try a XXL - STUPID TIGHT ARMS !!! btw it says Autumn dress - it’s see through . ... show more

    • Great Dress But Buyer be Wary
I fell in love with this dress, and with knee replacement surgery coming up, I ordered 4 of them in 4 different colors, all in size 3X, figuring they would work well for wearing during recovery from the surgery. In general, the dress is wonderful... comfortable, roomy, easy to wear and launder. BUT there are some gotchas. Purple: The purple dress is perfect. The color is spot on and the sizing and cut of the dress are exactly what I was expecting based on the product description. Pink: The pink version of the dress is NOT pink. It is orange. To be precise, it is a bright coral, and doesn't even come close to being the beautiful shade of pale pink shown in the product description. If you like coral, this color is an excellent choice, but if you're expecting pink as shown in the product images, you're going to be disappointed. Sizing, cut, and fit were all perfect. But it is CORAL NOT pink. Light Green: Again, the dress is NOT the beautiful shade of pale blue green shown is the description. It is green Pale green, but definitely not even close to the lovely blue tone with a touch of green mist to it shown in the product images. If you like pale minty green you will be happy, but if you're expecting the pale blueish color, you're going to be disappointed. Sizing, cut, and fit were perfect. But the color is not at all like what is shown. Dark Green: This color version of the dress was the most disappointing. The color itself is exactly as shown, but the dress itself is about 2-3 sizes smaller than the others of the same size, and the cut is very different. The neck opening is small and is not the same cut or shape as on the other colors, and looks nothing like what is shown in the images.. The arms are even smaller, short, and a bit of a struggle to get into. The overall dress is just a lot smaller and cut differently. If you want the same roominess that the other colors have, you're going to be disappointed unless you order it several sizes larger than what the description and measurements indicate you need. Overall, I still love the dress, except maybe the dark green version because it fits so tight. It is extremely comfortable and looks great on. Just beware of the colors not being as pictured, and, in at least one case, the sizing and cut being off. ... show more
