I was really surprised with the fit and finish of this car seat cover. I didn't have great expectations based on previous experiences with car seat covers, as I'm sure many others could echo. I was addressing a separate problem with the rear door latch failure on both rear doors, and decided to remove the front seat in order to have plenty of space to effect the door repair. With seat out, I had no problems installing and adjusting the seat cover. I did break one of plastic clips while adjusting the fit on the bench part of the seat. Several reviewers mentioned the low quality of the plastic clips on the elastic straps. They were not wrong. I found it easy to remedy this defect by just tying the elastic straps together at the location where the clip had failed. Busted clip aside, this is the finest seat cover I've ever purchased.

I kind of like this seat cover, but there are some things they could have done better. First, I will say that I like the fabric. It seems to be pretty tough and well wearing, but time will tell how long. The fabric cleans up easily if messed up. The back portion is made very well, and I really like how it goes on, and completely covers, including the back. Where they could have done better you ask? The bottom portion I am not crazy about. The straps are very thin and don't seem very strong. I am afraid to tighten them very tight because they feel as though they well tear off the cover. The plastic clips seem very flimsy also. The seams are weak (cheap thread?). As I was tugging on the seat portion to fit it on, one of the seams ripped. I was shocked because I was not pulling on it very hard. Also the flap on the side/rear of the seat that should wrap around has Velcro on it to Velcro to the aft of the seat bottom to hold it in place. well, there is nothing too Velcro it to, so it just flaps there. On the design of the back portion, and the actual fabric, this hits a home run. On the seat portion design and straps, they missed the mark. But that all said, for the price, I can make it work, and do some modifying on the bottom so I am not that upset. If I paid more for it, I would be though.

It's kind of big on our bench seat in our Ford F150. But it's definitely waterproof as anytime I spill my water ( which is every time we go anywhere) it roll right off and onto my clothes. Or out the back of the seat. The front pocket ripped pretty quickly but being a net I didn't expect it to last long. The pockets on the back are super deep and really nice to catch all our kids extra stuff.

You would think a company like Cat would be a little more conscious about their products and their name. So I'm wondering if a 3rd party was involved in this transaction??? Anyhow, the seat back fit like a glove! It fit exactly as the picture showed. However the bench seat... There was a white stain of some sort when I pulled it out of the package? Then... The seat cover would not fit no matter how hard I pulled and tugged! I was way too small! Being disgusted beyond belief, I called Amazon and they made it right! So Caterpillar, if you're reading this message, thank Amazon for saving your... And Amazon, thank you for your Great Customer Service! Oh! I should mention, I have a F250 and I hardly think the bench seat part would have fit a Ford Pinto! And I will say the fabric is every bit what I was expecting, durable and heavy duty! Now if Cat just knew how to read a tape measure, they'd have a great product! Thank you again Amazon for making it right! -Mike

Rugged product. I just put it on , well designed. Should last for a while , grease , bully dogs , coffee spill ect . This seat cover appears tough enough to suggest bring those situations on .

Good product at great price! Seams may be a little weak but the material is great otherwise. If you have a 1999 crew cab and possibility later years the front seat cover can also be used on the back bench seat so your seats will match ! Just fold the headrests back.
