Firstly the bottle is cute, something I can leave on the vanity and actually looks pretty. It took me two days to fully accept the scent, it ended up being sort of addicting smelling my wrist from how strong but soft the scent is. You know that effect when someone walks by and you get a full whiff or you take off your jacket or let your hair down and you smell perfume, yeaaa that’s this definitely. Even my cats snuggling me get a lil hint and smell like me too 😂 If you like ambre vanille from urban (woody, vanilla, campfire) this is better! Tips* if you feel like the scent isn’t lasting, make sure you’re hydrated and use lotion before spritzing!

I said it all in the headline - do NOT want anyone to think Chopard would EVER hyper-dilute anything, or that this is not a lovely perfume. I've never encountered this. There must have been some freak error in mfg/pkging - I do not believe Chopard would ever do anything like this. I hope they can look into this - I'd hate for people to think this is representative of then or this truly lovely scent - so superior to the cotton candy rubbish ("faux gourmand") so inexplicably popular for an inexplicable length of time (opinion, obviously) - this is a lovely layered much more complex sophisticated and enticing type of perfume. And it is NOT a scent that does a disappearing act in 2 minutes - and I am not speaking sillage or dry down being subtle - I'm talking disappearing act. I so hope this didn't happen on a large scale - tragic if so. And I do so hope to hear from them, and wish them all the best and send deep appreciation for a lovely scent being allowed to exist in this time of such seeming loss of appreciation of subtlety & taste.

I blind purchased this because I remember the packaging and bottle from my childhood. I believe my mom or an aunt had this on their dresser. Basically it made me feel nostalgia, so I went for it. I have to say that I'm glad I did! It will smell like cheap, old lady perfume when you first put it on, but give it a few minutes.. after that it softens up and smells lovely. It isn't something I would wear everyday, and it's a fall/winter season scent, in my opinion. It's a good sized bottle for $30, but it's also a $30 bottle of perfume so don't expect it to be super amazing. It's nice. It's warm. It's a soft, feminine scent that settles into a sweet, powdery scent the longer it's on. Not sure why, but AVON comes to mind when I smell it. Not sure if this was originally made by them but AVON sold a similar scent called Far and Away. It just has an AVON perfume vibe. Not a bad thing. I wouldn't say I love it, but I do like it a lot.. and I will wear it often.

I am used to woody floral scents for fall, so at first I was unsure of this scent as it's very light and sweet. But the more I wore it, it is now my go-to perfume. Just about every time I wear it, I receive a compliment or someone asks what I am wearing. Most of the time I am told it smells like a delicious donut or vanilla. I don't think the scent lasts all day, but it lasts a good while. Not to mention the bottle is a very pretty design. This is the second perfume I own and I think it's a great addition.
