I don’t like a lot of things happening on the face of my watches. This GS is the perfect watch for simply telling me the time with a touch of a tactical look. Gave it 4 stars due to a kinda thin band. I’m used to my GS having a thicker band. But it’s not like a girls watch !! I have gone through like 3 watches now. I had a sports watch that lasted 4 years before it died and then I tried to get fancy with two different metal watches. The first metal watch was never accurate and the second was hard to see with sun glare. I switched back to sports watches and I love this one. It feature packed! The watch is very minimalistic, but it functions exactly as described. This is not a watch for serious fitness tracking. It works as a basic tracker of steps, with the addition of many other standard G-Shock functions. This is a smaller watch that will be preferred by many who dislike the large, rugged style of most G-Shocks. If you want a serous fitness tracker, buy a Fitbit or Garmin. As always Amazon did an amazing job and delivered the product on the day the indicated. The watch performed as advertised with the mobile app and the Bluetooth connection. I am a G-shock fan, so I was not disappointed in the quality. I was displeased with two aspects. The watch face is much darker than the pictures indicate. I work the overnight shift as a Paramedic and frequently find myself in low light situations. Also, the band is much thinner than previously owned G-shocks. I got my first GShok 800 series for Christmas 2019 in tan. I love it!! I’ve worn it most everyday and no issues. Very comfortable and durable. I found the black one and decided to grab it and now I swap from the tan to black. Highly recommend these watches. The back light is very good and the bands are very tough. This watch is beautiful. Looks better in person. I wanted this watch because of the step counter but the mobile app doesn’t sync up with my health app in my phone. Kinda of a bummer but takes nothing away from this quality product.
