Been walking on top of 3 foot drifts. Only 1 small issue. Bindings loosen when walking through brush. I think brush is hitting release but not sure yet Update: cut binding straps so, they don't hit the deck, when ratcheted down. It improved but loosen when dragging a sleds full of logs. Still tight enough to walk but could be better ... show more

My 5 yr old granddaughter (47#) put these on and took off running. She lapped me several times in our hike through the 4’ deep woods. They worked perfectly for her and should last for years. They are very light but sturdy and well-made.

    • Well made but small for the weight rating.
I bought two brands, both 25 inches long. Both similar construction and weight. This brand is rated for more weight but has a smaller surface area, clearly a sales pitch. The snow has to be pretty firm for a 160 lb person on these shoes.
