I found the magnets too weak to keep me from having to readjust the ring constantly, and it kept sliding upwards deeper into my nose. Additionally, the rods aren't always symmetrical so you might need to bend them a bit to get them looking right. On the plus side, the ends stay put *if* you make sure you have them threaded on straight when replacing them, which can take a few tries. They look fine when you first put them in if your goal is a quick selfie session, but get messed up pretty quick when out and about. ... show more

I like these fake septum piercings because once you get them in the way you want, they look very real and are easy to put in and take out. The magnet is strong which is a pro and a con at the same time as it does not easily fall out but at the same time starts hurting a little bit when wearing as the septum is squeezed. I bought these because I wanted to see what a septum piercing would look like on me and so I could wear these to see how I liked it. These work magnetically so they attach together on either side of your nose, but the magnets are pretty big compared to the rest of the nose ring, and it makes the ring look weird and very wide when you actually wear it, especially if you have a smaller nose. Also if you wear this for more than 5 minutes it will start to hurt the inside of your nose where you put it. ... show more

I was super excited when my septum piercings came in the mail. They came as mentioned in the order description, two silver/black nose septum piercings which came along with 8 replaceable spike heads. If the spike-heads are replaceable, so were the balls on the septum piercing. The fitting of the balls on the septum were like a screw, but there was barely any support of twist so the balls would fall fast if they were touched. The grief that came when the balls fell was horrible, THEY WOULD GET LOST SO EASILY! Come to find out, adjusting them though was a bit of a struggle as well. The magnets worked perfectly but to shape them like a real septum so it wouldn't look fake, took lots of delicacy and time. Not to mention that there is a sensible pain 30 minutes into wearing them and it get harsher the longer it is in. To summarize that I would imagine the pain would be worse if the piercing was actually real and may even effect the jobs you would be able to get, I give them a 3 out of 5 stars. I definitely think if you want a septum, you should just be able to go out and get one though.. ... show more
