Carolina Herrera for Men is a sophisticated fragrance for the adventurous spirit, marked by notes of character and modern elegance. The fragrance opens with a freshly transparent top note of Neroli and Citrus fruit leaves, Lavender and Rosemary further magnified through its heart and combining with richly aromatic, spicy notes of green pepper leaves, cloves and geranium. A blend as eclectic as the Herrera man, the scent’s woody base of tobacco, sandalwood and ambergris reaffirms an elegant masculinity. A Woody Floral Musk fragrance for men launched in 1991. This was a blind buy for me. I am not an extremely picky person but, I consider myself having excellent taste. This smells good. Period. It’s a smell that you recognize as smelling good in the moment. But it’s also a smell that doesn’t leave an after thought. It’s an, “ah that smells good”, end of story, kind of smell. It’s not one of those, “damn that smells amazing” and then thinking of it later on, kind of smells. It could be a watered down version though too. Because you only smell it while spraying it (That might be a tiny bit dramatic 😬) But, that’s the best way for me to describe it. It’s a good blind buy and I don’t necessarily regret it. But, I’m also looking for a restock of cologne now and, I’m not buying this again. For reference, I am a female in search of the best colognes for my guy if that matters to those in a similar situation. ... show more
