This hoodie is warm and is well made with a heavy duty metal zipper.. It is true to size but if you plan to wear several layers, recommend you size up. The color matches the pictures but I would prefer a more feminine color. Purchased on sale making it a good value.

This thing is so crazy warm. You know when you first put a coat on and it’s cold inside? This jacket doesn’t do that!!! It’s so soft and warm. The fabric is thick and lays nicely. I absolutely love it!

So—this Carhartt, fleece-lined sweatshirt is *the* best sweatshirt I’ve ever met. I am somewhat surprised by how much I like it after recently encountering several comments from “gatekeeper” folks who feel the Carhartt brand belongs exclusively to tradespersons who labor with their hands (plumbers, electricians, farmers, etc.) but never to someone who might not put its obvious durability through the paces. (For the record, I’ve had this garment for less than a full day; it’s not even been through the wash yet, but the apparent sturdiness of the seams, which are double stitched; zippers, which are metal; and aglets, which are also metal, suggests it will endure for years.) I live in a historic home that can get a bit chilly during the extreme cold that occasionally rears its head here in eastern Kansas during the winter. I bought this sweatshirt primarily to wear while reading, sipping tea, and petting cats as I tend to be cold natured, and sometimes a blanket isn’t what I’m after, especially if I’m performing light chores. I’m a midsize at 5’5”, 125lbs-ish. I bought a medium and wish I’d bought a large so it would hang a bit looser/lower, and I could fold up the cuffs—but the medium is great, realistically, it’s probably the perfect size. I might have even gone with a small if I’d been interested in wearing it outside of my house where people might see me and question my right to own and wear this brand. This sweatshirt is quite thick and heavy, almost a wearable blanket. Basically it’s a sweatshirt coat with more flexibility than an actual coat would offer. I can’t say this sweatshirt makes me look or feel fashionable, but I do find I suddenly have an urge to buy a tool belt and start fixing things around my house. Also—it has a zipper pocket over the left b**b? To keep kittens I think.

This is my second Carhartt sweatshirt hoodie both exactly the same. I love them so much that I completely wore out my first one. Talk about a warm, furry and incredibly comfortable hoodie! I wear mine all the time. Considering buying another one as a backup. They are definitely worth the money and so much more.
