A great fit in an exceptionally high quality jean. Suited for work and casual wear. They look as good with work boots as with any dress boots in your closet. They are sturdy yet soft and so comfortable, with deep pockets. I was so taken with them I immediately ordered another pair in a different color. As I have found all of Carhartt’s pants to be, you can line dry OR dry on low and there is no shrinkage. Please Carhartt, make them in more colors!!!

Ordered the jeans in a tall and I am very happy with the length. Pants are more form fitting in the waist so when you pull them on they seem too tight. Once on they are comfortable with a back that doesn't gap and covers my backside when bending over. I purchased these for casual jeans for errands as I love my carhart utility pants. These seem to have the same fit without all the extra cargo pockets. Straight leg fit is great as my thighs are more muscular, along with my calfs. Great color and fade, backside cut is very flattering. The one draw back ....the smell!!! oh my goodness. Such a strong perfume smell, I washed the jeans alone on and extra cycle and it faded. I purchased to different sizes and they both had the same strong perfume odor. The smell is still there if your really sensitive, I’ve been airing them outside and will wash again

I love these! They're a little tight at the waist, but jeans have a tendency to stretch a bit over time, so I'm not worried. Being 5'4", they're also a bit too long for me, so I did risk buying a second pair in "short" and those are actually the perfect length (most brands, "short" is just a tiny bit too short). They're 98% cotton which is so hard to find these days. And, best of all, they have real pockets! I can fit my cell phone in my front pocket. So grateful that someone is making real jeans for women instead of just fashion rags. Now, as long as they hold up for at least a year, I'll be a customer for life.

The quality and fabric are as expected from a Carhartt product, I love them, very comfortable. The issue is that the waist is very tight. I was still able to close the button, but that took away the feeling of comfortable pants. I ordered 6 Short, that's always my size. I don't think a size 8 would fix the problem on the waist because the pants fit normally lose as expected on the hips and thighs, I'm afraid a size 8 would look very big.

Update- Amazon sent a replacement pair. Unfortunately they have a defect as well. Customer service told me that these are coming straight from the manufacturer this way. What a shame that they are trying to sell defective merchandise at full price. I love the fit and feel of these jeans. My only issue is that I am wondering if they are factory seconds? There is an imperfection on the right back leg that is very noticeable. For $50 I expect much, much better quality. I am returning these pants, but what a pain. I paid a higher price through Amazon because I needed them right away. Now I have to go through all this hassle to return them and purchase a new pair.

...jeans that actually fit!! I could not be happier. I am 5'7" tall, weigh 123 lbs and my waist is smaller than my hips. I ordered a size 6. I have spent an awful amount of money looking for jeans that fit. Tried all the usual brand names and some of the not so usual. These jeans do not, actually do not (as advertised) gap in the back. They actually fit both my waist and my hips. The material is just a bit heavier than the other guys jeans which I like, they seem to hold their shape better as the day goes by. They have a little, little bit of stretch. I have washed and dried them, no shrinkage. The straight legs are actually straight, no slight boot cut or anything else, go over the top of my boots perfectly. My tall boots even fit although a little snug near the tops. Absolutely the best jeans I've had since I was a kid.

I bought 2 pair of these jeans. I liked them at first, the fit seemed good and the short length fit my height perfectly. But I quickly learned they run VERY large, normally I wear a size 8 in jeans but these fit more like a 10 (I'm 5'2 1/2 and weigh about 135). I notice that after having them on for about an hour or so they were loosening and after a full day of work (painting) they were completely stretched out...baggy knees, sagging butt and sliding down off my waist. Also, the knees wore out way too quickly, I have only had one pair for 10 months and yesterday the knee ripped open. I really wanted to like these, as they are comfortable feeling, but I will not be ordering them again. The quality just doesn't seem right.

Well made jeans. Fit as expected and perfect length for wearing with work or western boots. Tough enough for working on the farm but nice enough for going into town or out to dinner. Nothing fancy just good well made denim.
