I knew what I wanted but was it even out there? I'm a Massage Therapist and I had a few requirements that I would not compromise on. I wanted something in black and that didn't look like a medical scrub, that wouldn't shrink or fade from frequent washing, was a comfortable fit all day AND that had a deep pocket on the thigh to hold my massage oil bottle. I tried hundreds (it felt like it ) with the "Try Before You Buy" option. I knew the second I tried them on ( or looked at them) that they were not it. They either had no pockets where I needed it, were too wrinkly, too dumpy, too medical looking, too tight or "form fitting" around the tush (seriously?). All were just too ..blah. No scrub pants ticked all the boxes. Was it even out there? And then Carhartt arrived. (Celestial music started playing here.) This was the perfect one! I found it! The material is a light fabric, not a tight cotton. It's professional and attractive looking without being "doctor's office style". And that pocket? Hallelujah! Perfect location so my massage oil is always moving with me. I get compliments on my outfit all the time. (I pair them with a Cherokee Flex Infinity scrub top - another perfect find) The only slightly negative thing I can say about them is that I can feel a slight static cling when I first put them on, but it goes away after a few seconds. I’m a PreK 3 teacher. We wear black scrub pants and T-shirts. The material is very dark and very comfortable. The pockets on the leg are a perfect fit for my iPhone. The material is stretchy enough to accommodate my constant motion. I know with the carhardt brand I can rely on these. I will be buying more pairs. Fantastic. These are my 2nd favorite scrub pants of all time. The only reason they're 2nd, my favorite style of Carhartt scrub pants was discontinued. These pants are very DURABLE, have a sturdy tie, great pockets, lightweight, stretchy, and are quick drying. Bleach wipes don't fade them. They are basic bottoms, not a fad style, which is another reason they'll last. If you're in a profession with a specific scrub color, and plan to stay, do yourself a favor and get some Carhartt scrubs. They last the longest. Just avoid cotton.. I have Carhartts I've been wearing for nearly 12+ years and you CAN'T TELL they're that old. ... show more

Best work pants ever! I've had these for 5 years now and they're still like they're brand new. I wash them everyday because I work in a animal disease laboratory and they still hold up.
