I loved the fabric, the pockets, the straight leg. Nice quality construction. The cut is VERY generous in these. I bought some 2XL Tall Figs and they are pretty form fitting but not tight. I like the fit of scrubs to be somewhat loose...not form fitting due to my size. I am constantly bending, lifting etc. as an inpatient rehab therapist but these could fit another half of me. I may need a large vs. the XL! I could have kept them, just pulled the drawstring to keep them up as you usual, but I decided to exchange for smaller size. They fit good room to move but not baggy. The petite length is perfect for a shorty like me. Made of a soft stretchy material, and have lots of pockets. I have been wearing scrubs for 10 years and these are by far my favorite. It's hard for me to find ones that fit well because I am very tall and have a small waist with big hips. Well the XLTall fits like they were tailored to me. I bought black and mine do not leave a residue as another reviewer has stated happened to her. I'm on my feet for 9 hour shifts constantly moving and these keep me cool and comfortable. I hope Carhartt always makes these.

These look very nice, but the waist is so huge that when the drawstring is tight enough so they don't fall down, there is a weird look. I can't imagine anyone with petite medium would have a waist that big. I'm generally a 6-8 or medium petite. I'd order the small or extra small if I was to do it over, but I paid $34.96 and was refunded $25.83. This seems like a large amount for return mailing and restocking.

I have washed these pants 5 times and they still leave the color catcher in the washing machine a dark grey. Today I finally wore them figuring they had to be ok, nope they rubbed off on my underwear and socks. My husband stopped the washer just now and brought out a cup of what looked like Dirty water. Sixth washing and they are still bleeding color, time to return.
