For a Carhart item I would expect it to not pill and last however these started pilling and threads coming undone within a second wash and like I said not breathable. That to me is slightly important considering I don’t want to have a pool of sweat between my legs if I’m busy. The top too. Started pilling before the pants did. For the value of the set together they should do better.

Four out of five pairs of these Carhartt jogger scrub pants fell apart after gentle use, gentle cold washing, and drying only on a drying rack inside my home. Stitching on four out of five pairs came out which caused holes. I also made sure to never wash them with any clothing with zippers to protect these very fragile looking pants. I took very good care of these pants. From day one, these pants looked poorly sewn. We kept them because our daughter needed them for a part time job. My daughter only wore these for a month. In addition to the terrible stitching, the fabric of the pants is extremely thin and cheap looking. Even worse, the material in the waist bands and ankle cuffs pilled after washing them in cold water and hanging them to dry. Since I missed the deadline to return these the Amazon.com, I contacted Carhartt to let them know about the problems with these pants. The first time I called, the Carhartt representative asked me to email her pictures of the damage. I also offered to mail the four defective pairs of pants back to them, but she said NOT to mail the actual pants to their office. Per her instructions, I emailed her the photos, but I never heard back from her. She didn’t even acknowledge receiving them. I called again, and a second Carhartt employee told me that it usually takes at least five to seven days for the quality control team to evaluate the photographs and respond. A week later, I called back and spoke to a third Carhartt employee, who told me that no one had forwarded the pictures to quality control. She asked that I email her the pictures. She offered to send me replacements, but they had recently sold out of that model and size (petite large). They also had no petite large in stock for the other styles of scrubs. She then told me her supervisor said she could email me a gift card to cover the cost of the four pairs of pants. Later, I received a gift card for only $40, which of course does not cover the cost of the four pairs of pants. I emailed that third Carhartt employee back, and she never responded to my question about how $40 would cover the cost of four pairs of pants. I also called and spoke to a fourth employee who chastised me and claimed that they never give gift cards, refunds, or replacements for problematic Carhartt purchases made on Amazon (which completely contradicted what the other three Carhartt employees previously told me). While chastising me, that fourth Carhartt employee said, “You should be grateful you got anything.” This was a very negative experience.

I bought two pairs of this brand. I returned this one without using it. I did keep one of the pants that I wear. You have to wash these pants before using it, or it will stain your socks and shirt blue. The color fades after washing the pants for the first time. The material is very comfortable. I also bought white scrubs top from this company. I loved the top and the pants not so much.
