  • This is my third purchase
Size: 46W x 30L Big Tall Color: Stonewash
This was my third time purchasing these jeans, my first two I wear everyday, I just wanted an extra pair. I like the color, feel, material, strength of these jeans. They are very durable, which is important to me as someone who drives a motorcycle part-time. The first pair I purchased, one of the belt loops broke after two years. That isn't uncommon for Jeans in my experience. Other than that, they are still holding up extremely well, still look good considering I wear them everyday. I am confident my newest pair will do just as well. I appreciate that these are available in American Men sizes, which are difficult to find in retail stores. ... show more

  • Bought these for motorcycle riding
Size: 46W x 32L Big Tall Color: Stonewash
Motorcycle pants can be expensive beginning at $100 on average or higher, and normal Levi's and denim jeans are to thin. These jeans are thick, have good room for the flexing required when riding a motorcycle or maxi-scooter. They should hold up longer for riding, especially since If you don't carry anything in the back pockets. They come in sizes for real men. Most jeans and pants are sized for teenagers. I wear a 46 waist 32 length. These jeans were long but didn't drag. The opening at the bottom of the legs went over my motorcycle riding shoes without a problem. They feel good. They look good. They are NOT "Motorcycle Pants" however, which have Kevlar and Protective pads, but they should provide a little more wear resistance than a regular pair of denim. I have a pair of actual motorcycle pants coming, but I will also buy another pair of these, because my daily clothes have to be able to double for motorcycle riding too. ... show more

  • Love these Carhartt men's jeans!
These Carhartt jeans have been a favorite of mine for several years. They are well made and look and fit great. My only complaint is that they are a little long. All of my pants have a 32-inch inseam. These jeans are labeled as 32 inches but they are a little longer. Not enough to be a deal breaker, I am still very happy with them. The color is perfect with just the right amount of stone wash look. ... show more

  • So Long Levi's
I've been wearing Levi jeans for over 30 years (501 & 550)...they've always fit and have been very durable. I don't mind paying more if I know I'm getting quality. Yes, I'm one of those that stick with a product for decades as long as the quality of the product remains superior and Levi's has always fit into that category ....until now. I recently bought several pairs of Levi's and the stitching on the back pocket "V's" started coming undone after a single wash. Not just on one pair ....on all of them. Extremely irritating to say the least ...especially since I paid almost $40 for each pair. In addition, the denim just doesn't seem as rugged/tough as it used to be. I suspect Levi has lost their dedication to quality to cut costs ... unfortunately, not all that unusual with a lot of larger companies these days. After some advice from a co-worker, I decided to try the Carhartt jeans (Traditional Fit) and purchased a single pair on Amazon to try them out. They arrived on Tuesday, I washed them Tuesday night, I wore them all day Wednesday, and today (Thursday) I will buy at least 4 more pair on Amazon. Folks, these are good jeans ...they're what Levi's use to be. As a bonus, they are much more reasonably priced (around $10 less than the Levi's I purchased). I've worn other Carhartt products over the years and have always been impressed ...I'm glad I found these jeans. Here is where you really need to pay attention ..this is my very first review I've ever posted on Amazon and I've bought a lot of products on Amazon. If that doesn't tell you something about these jeans, I don't know what will. My only concern at this point is to see how they perform after a long period of wear and multiple washes ...will update review if they don't perform as I expect they will. ... show more

  • Good, tough blue jeans that wear well
I'm a former Levis wearer. I loved my California made Levis. Back in 1979 a pair of 501 cost $15 and change; in 2015 that equates to $52, and I'd be happy to pay that, if good Levis were still available. Levi Strauss has been tring for years to put themselves out of business. Diluting their line and sucking every last bit of cool out of the brand were two of their strategies. I jumped ship when their design and construction quality tanked some years ago (2002 or so). Levis inability to control the length, or even pocket location, drew comments from my girl-friend. I was having to roll the cufs on some of them. They may have recovered from those dark days but they are way un-cool. Besides, Carhartt has given me no good reason to risk my money. I think these are 14 or 15 oz like Levis. Made in Mexico. Sadly, not button fly, but the zippers are very good quality YKK brass. They have 6 rivits and a watch-pocket that fits my Swiss-Army watch well. Pocket locations are good and consistant. Fits as expected. These are hevily pre-washed so if you want new-looking, dark indigo jeans, look elsewhere. But they are also soft and ready to wear so you could wear them before washing! ... show more

  • Not usual Carhartt quality
Size: 48W x 32L Big Tall Color: Stonewash
Material and sewing isn't the heavyweight Carhartt quality that it used to be. Fit is as expected.

  • Great quality jeans
This was my first purchase of carhart jeans and I am impressed. The denim is much better tha Levis brand, it is more sturdy, like jeans use to be!! Not really to stiff, just thicker. The fit is not baggy, a little on the slim side but not tight, exactly what I was looking for. It seems so many of the other brands are being made cheaper and I don't see that with this purchase. I have only wore twice so I can't speak to durability, but judging from the craftsmanship and material I am betting these things hold up well. I was going to wait,a little before purchasing more but I may go ahead, i really like these. I am really picky when it comes to jeans so that says alot. the pockets are deep enough, you get 7 belt loops not 5 and they are comfortable!! I am 5'8 and wiegh 170Lbs if you are wondering about my build.Try a pair and I think you will agree these are well made jeans ... show more
