I’ve been buying Wrangler relaxed fit jeans, but, they have just changed their style to a distressed fabric to look worn. I can do that simply by wearing and working in them a lot and after 6 months of machine washings, I’ll get the faded/worn look that I like. I had ordered Wrangler jeans, not being aware they’d changed their style look and not what I wanted. Returned them. I’ve owned Carhartt jackets and can say, the Carhartt brand is truly good quality and fit. Carhartt does not skimp on quality. So, I searched Amazon, found the Carhartt jeans that were exactly like the older version of the Wrangler jeans I loved and placed an order. Delighted with these Carhartts…the first jeans I’ver ever bought of this brand. The fit is perfect for what i always order for waist and inseam, the denim is very good quality and these jeans do not use any stressing or cosmetic look of worn jeans. The fabric color and uniformity is perfect! I’ll handle the stressing, fading, worn look myself as i use these jeans all of the time! These jeans use 7 belt loops, while other use 5-6. The additional belt loops help keep the waist in place and I find more belt loops equate to a more comfortable and stable fit as the day goes on. My first try for jeans made by Carhartt and total success. I know and trust the brand after using their work jackets. I just ordered 2 more of these prior to posting this review. 100% satisfaction for fit, quality of material and over-all comfort. You get what you pay for with these Carhartts and please consider spending a few more dollars for jeans that you’ll really feel really comfortable in and will probably wear for 3-4 years or more before ever needing to replace them. I have worn Carhart Jeans, size 32/30 for at least the last 15 years. I purchased two new pairs of relaxed fit straight leg jeans, size 32/30 and could barely get in them. They would not even come close to buttoning without even a tee shirt tucked in. I had taken off a pair of Carhart 32/30 to try them on so I know it is not that I suddenly gained 20 pounds.
