Excellent quality as always. One beef: How can two pair of Carhartt pants, both with the same waist size, have two very different lengths/circumferences? After wearing the same size canvas work pants from Carhartt, I ordered these jeans in the same size, only to discover that the jeans had a waist that was almost 2 inches larger than the canvas pants. And no, it's not due to washing/shrinking. New canvas, old canvas were the same, but the jeans were much larger. The reason we have standard units of measure is so that we can all agree on things like length, weight, volume, etc. Two pairs of pants from the same manufacturer, in the same size, should NOT be so very different. Otherwise, Carhartt is one of the finest clothiers I've ever patronized. ... show more

My husband has worn Carhartt for years & loves them. I purchased this pair in early August and there is a rip at the back pocket. Are these returnable? This has never happened before!

    • Not a relaxed fit jean.
Size: 36W x 30L Color: Bay
These are anything but relaxed fit. They are very 'slim fit' in the hips and thighs, with very little room in the crotch. Mobility is very limited wearing these and they sit very low on the hips. The fabric is fairly thin and doesn't feel durable for a Carhartt work jean.
