I bought this as a replacement for my husbands old carhartt sweater hes been wearing for a few years. He loves the rain defender. It us very durable and lasts for years even when wearing at a construction job. Its light enough to move around in but warm enough to wear in the snow. 3x fits him great. He hates pull overs or anything fuzzy on the inside so this style is great for him. Definitely will continue to buy this one for him. His old one is still in great shape, its just sun faded and the sleeves are a little worn down. Very good quality. Size runs a bit large. That's okay since I layer in cold weather. It is water resistant. I would have given it 5-stars, but the zipper is too small, therefore it's difficult to start. Put a bigger zipper on this and you'll have a perfect hoodie.
