I love the Carhartt brand in general, have worn many of their clothes over the years and have never hated any of them. I choose the brand because of practicality and durability, even in spite of occasional high price tags, because the quality of their goods is so high. I was once told the importance of investing in quality footwear. A well-made shoe of high-quality materials will last many years. Over the course of those same years, one will replace cheap shoes many times. So, the overall cost of the quality shoes, which has a large price tag, will ultimately be lower than the cost of multiple pairs of cheap shoes over the same period of time. I apply this same principle as often as I can to my wardrobe in general. I spend the extra money on better craftsmanship, better materials, and generally see my clothing serve me well for a long while. And that's why Carhartt is in my closet. That said: I have never been much of a "hoodie guy." Just wasn't my style. I was shopping around for a Carhartt jacket and saw their line of heavy outerwear, found they had a number of options, and figured I'd add one in just to see if I liked it. Worst case scenario, I knew I'd have a casual item I could wear out walking in the cool months of the year. As it turned out, I am indeed a hoodie guy. I love this thing! It's so comfortable and warm, and BIG with a large pocket, and it's perfect for the job I do, in which I often need a jacket for warmth, but don't need the extra layer and restricted movement a jacket tends to represent. Best of all, this design has a large, practical hood - unlike many cheaper hoodies that barely have a head covering to speak of. Hood up, the material sits flat, and provides plenty of room, so it doesn't interfere with headwear or headgear. Highly recommended. Get more than one.

I absolutely love this sweatshirt it is soft, comfortable and keeps me warm without over heating me. I’ve worn this a lot since buying so it’s probably been washed about 10 times and so far the fabric and color have held up very well. I’m 5’2” and about 140 and the medium fits me great with a lot of comfort room so that I’m not being squeezed. Overall my experience has been great and I do recommend!

Carhartt never misses!! It’s very hard to find a nice hoodie as a big guy.. one that can cover up my stomach too! Honestly, these are my go to hoodies! They are warm, durable, and come it nice colors. I have 4 now and am always looking for more!

The hoodie overall is wonderful. It feels durable and the zipper appears to be heavy duty (compared to other hoodies). I love the quality but my only gripe is the sizing. Recently, I've switched to XL because I lift and my chest and arms need a little more wiggle room. However, I still like a slim fit to a certain extent. With this hoodie, if I had went went w/ the recommended XL, I could have moved in, that's how big it is. I had to return a size L because it was still to baggy. I can't believe I am saying this but I ended up keeping a size M. It's a perfect slim fit... lol. I haven't wore a size M for like 20 years when I was in my early 20's or even younger.

it's overpriced and it was a day late it had a three day window to arrive so being a day late was unacceptable. i like the hoodie and it's really warm i just wish it was a little bit longer not like a tall, but just like an inch longer. i feel like it's one of those things where you're paying for the logo but i don't really care that much about this brand to pay more for it. again i actually really like the hoodie.
