    • Sliders are not inexpensive, this one is very nice, and actually affordable.
I kind of hoped that it would mount to a tripod easily... and it does! Not only does it mount up easily, it mounts up to a quick release mount. This means that we can snatch the slider off of a tripod and use it in a plethora of ways with the attached legs, or any other fashion that we can dream up. We can mount any kind of camera to it, and I am going to be playing around with mounting multiple cameras on it - lightweight stuff, smartphone and GoPro 8. I have pretty much always wanted to have a slider for certain types of videos but could never justify it, and I might have the skill set to create one, but sometimes, someone makes one we can afford, and justify... and it is good! I love it, it exceeds what I was hoping for - five stars! ... show more

I think it competes with another brand in its same price range, though the carry case is a little cheezy. Mine came looking like it had been gently used already? Just seemed like the legs had been messed with, or sloppily assembled, and some kind of discoloration that looks kinda like oily fingerprints. I like that it has a level, and will mount on a tripod. Pretty lightweight, due to the carbon fiber. Halfway decent materials. I get MOSTLY smooth action, but it tightens up a little toward one side. It's going to get some use, and I like it a little. This is a must-have for any videographer or cinematographer. The rail allows you to have super smooth slide views from your DSLR or Professional Camcorder. The rollers are extra smooth and allow the camera to glide very easily. There are folding legs that can be used on a tabletop or on the floor for low shots. It can also be mounted on a tripod to give it more height and give you more control.     • Very smooth, nice carrying bag
Been wanting a long manual slider for many years! This was nice a rigid for smooth, repeatable motions thanks to the carbon fiber tubes. The feet are easy to deploy (my preferred method over the tripod mount). Packs away easily and is VERY light for transport.
