Bought for the occasional wedding. Didn't want to spend too much so went with a value. I'm a 10-3/4 so hard to fit. Choose 11. Still in the break in period. Width is sufficient, these "pointy" toes are always tricky to fit. Nothing perticulaly special nor deficient. Relatively thin materials as expected at this price point.     • Great Shoe. Comfortable Wear. Soft Upper.
I was worried about the sizing on this shoe after reading some of the reviews, but this fits true to size. I wear a 10.5 US on all my other shoes, and this fit perfectly. The extra space referred to by another reviewer at the toe is by design. They don't look like clown shoes. My foot is a bit wide and this shoe accommodates that perfectly. The leather is soft and supple right out of the box. The sole is also soft and quiet on the floor. This was a concern as I have a pair of CK derby style shoes that sound like wooden clogs when I walk on my hardwood floor with them. These are much more quiet. I'm not a fan of people being able to hear me coming from down the hall, so these shoes are great in that sense. The perforated leather looks good with chinos or with a suit. They give texture to your overall outfit. There is a bit of discomfort at the top of the upper where the tongue and laces meet on the right foot, but that has already begun to lessen as they break in after a few days' wear. BTW there was very little "break-in" time needed as they were comfortable in all day wear situations from the first day. ... show more

    • Great looking shoe but falls short in only a few areas...
I bought these because they were the closest looking to the Calvin Klein Men's Alex Oxford, which were the best dress shoes (Maybe best shoe in general) I have ever worn in my life and sold out everywhere, but they are no where near as good as them... In the looks department they are A+!!!! BUT! They use a more ridged leather so the fit is not as comfortable... These are about on par with other dress shoes in terms of comfort, and the fit is just blah... Where the Alex felt like hugged the arch with a supple and soft leather , while providing the best support I have ever felt... This shoe just doesn't feel the same... My only other gripe is it scuffs, or the veneer/exterior scrapes off very easily... The toe all but looks like suede now... Good shoes... Just not great shoes... ... show more
