This hooded robe is exactly what my little vampire in training needed! She’s determined to go full Dracula this Halloween, and this robe delivers the drama, rich black color, long draping sleeves, and that perfectly creepy hood that lets her practice her “I vant to suck your blood” voice with pride. The fit was true to size and comfy enough for her to stalk around the house for hours, cape swooshing and all. The fabric feels durable too, so I’m not worried about it tearing the moment she lunges for candy. For the price, I was honestly impressed, no need to auction off my plasma to pay for it! She’s over the moon (or coffin?) about wearing it and has already found fangs, a choker and matching boots to wear with it that will no doubt have me back to considering selling plasma. And yes, please ignore the laundry basket in the background of the photo… the washing never ends and that basket follows me from room to room like an unpaid roommate. ... show more

Awesome dress

Just a beautiful black dress up dress! I usually make our Halloween outfits, no time this year. This was my 7 yo's witch dress. Fit was perfect, ordered according to chart. Had to take up length (which I knew before I ordered)and was easy to work with on my sewing machine. Washed up like new even after machine dry. The ribbon corset is cool, you can adjust it if needed. Daughter loved it so much she wore it as much as she could from the time it came until Halloween. Definitely will repurpose and it will grow with her when I take out the hem. Nice costume

My daughter wore this as part of a Bellatrix costume that we put together. I think it runs big. She is nearly 8 years old, on the tall end (52 inches, 75th percentile) and very thin (about 52 pounds). The dress dragged on the ground by an inch or two but was okay with shoes. The cut worked well for her - since she is so thin things are often too wide but this fit well. It has stretch so at one point she put on her winter coat under the dress to stay warm. When she took off the coat it bounced back to it's original slim shape. I think it would be way too long for the average 6 year old but could be hemmed pretty easily. Quality is fine - it's a costume so my expectations were just that it hold up reasonably well and not fall apart after a single wear. It's thin... but again, it's a costume. She was able to layer up under it ... show more

Decent quality, true to size.

The material was pretty thin, but overall I thought it was good. The criss cross ribbons on the chest were very cute. In my opinion it was true to size, the XL 14-16 fit my 11 yr old who is big for her age. I do think it was a little on the pricey side for what you are getting. I think it would hold up over several years if it were to still fit. ... show more

Fantastic quality. A lot of reviews said it ran small. My daughter is nine years old and wears a 10-12 in shirts and 10 in jeans. The size choices were: 8-10 & 10-12. We bought the 10-12. It is wearable - but it will fit again next year. So imo, it runs closer to a 12, but I'm sure the 8-10 would have fit a little better. I think it run true to the size the label states but doesn't really mean if your kid wears a 10-12 shirt that the 10-12 is the right size. But judging by the reviews I'm not convinced their sizing is consistent. Anyway, assuming you can figure out the correct sizing, the actual item is better made than any store bought costume I've seen. My daughter wants to be the grim reaper this year. Next year she could use it again for many of types of costumes as well so I'm happy. ... show more

My 9-yo daughter chose this for her Halloween costume and we both love it! The the design is wonderful, the hood is big enough to hang down over her face to look more creepy, with the fabric being thin enough she can see thru it, so she can walk around with her eyes hidden. I am 13 years old and was looking online for costumes and when I came across this one, I knew this was the one. Came in less than 2 days and is good material, very flattering, and obviously a great price. I'm 5' 5" and 95 lbs and I got 10-12 and it fits well, its a bit short but that's cause I'm very tall.
