I had to retire the old sneakers I use in the garden and wanted something practical, waterproof, comfortable and not too tall. I’ve looked at rain boots at a large retailer and they want $60+ for a pair and they run far too narrow. I came across these, read the reviews and decided to get the size 7.5 since they didn’t have a 7. I have wide feet but narrow heels so it can be a challenge to find things that fit. Most of the time when o buy shoes I take a big kids 5.5 and sometimes 4.5 because they are wider than women’s . When I tried them on I was wearing a pair of my boot socks and my feet slipped easily in with no problem at all. They were roomy where I could wiggle my toes around easily. There was about a finger and a half width in front of my toes of room which is alright. There is an insole but if you’re looking for actual support you might want to put in an insole. For me, I have high arches so most shoes’ arches are too low and cause me painful cramping. Most days at home I’m barefoot or in socks so these suit me well. I spent all afternoon in them weeding and I was surprised my feet were warm although being cold today and for as lightweight they are. They were easy to kick right off when I came in. I loved them some much that same day I ordered another pair for everyday use when it rains when I go out shopping. I think it’s a good value for the price but will have to see how long they will last since I garden daily unless raining. ... show more

I got these to wear when gardening. I got a size larger than I normally wear because i put inserts in them for my plantar fasciitis. They were still a little large, so I just wear thick socks. They're very comfortable & keep my feet clean & dry when gardening.

I have been gardening over 30 years, and these are BY FAR the best gardening shoes in the universe. The shoes are waterproof. The top of the shoes are ankle length, keeping out bugs and dirt. Shoes are SUPER comfortable. Was a challenge to get shoes on the first few times, but gets easier as shoe stretches a bit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND I have always used some type of gardening clog, but dirt, water,, and bugs get inside clogs, making shoes uncomfortable at best. For the same price as clogs, this ankle-length gardening shoe eliminates all problems. They are also so darn cute (mine are black) ... show more
