Ordered both a Large ( my recommended size per Amazon) and an XL per reviewers saying it was tight in the chest (I’m a 38B). The XL came first and fit fine with a shirt underneath and comfortable. Then the Large came and it also fit comfortably so I decided to measure them and found they were identical in size 🤷🏼♀️. Both were 21” across at chest (42”) and 33 ¾” in length from top of shoulder. I’m 5’4 1/2” and it is above the knee so a great length for me. Both are great quality denim fabric, well made and flattering on as well as comfortable. Both tags say 85% cotton 15% polyester ( not spandex). As to stretch, there is stretch up and down but Not side to side as one might expect. I decided to keep both as it’s such a great versatile wardrobe piece that is hard to find. Just don’t know if this is a fluke that both sizes were identical or what. 🤷🏼♀️ ... show more

I bought this dress because it is getting warmer and I wanted a denim dress for the summer. I do like this dress but there were a few things that prompted me to return it. I did like how it looked on me. It hugged my figure and, being a larger woman, I did like the confidence it gave me! The material felt comfortable and not stiff at all. Definitely breathable and light for those summer afternoons. I really did like the pockets. The pockets were very practical and I could easily fit my phone in there and my phone did not show. Color was accurate to what I ordered and it complimented my light skin tone very well. Material felt good and not cheap. I really liked the versatility too. It's the kind of dress you could wear around the house, run errands in, or just throw on for a casual day out. The price was also great. I was looking at other brands that were charging way more. So if I kept this, I think the price would have been way worth it. I did, however, decide to return it. Yes, the dress looked nice on me, but it did feel somewhat tight, especially in the chest area. I have a 42" bust, so I do carry more volume up top, and even following the size chart and ordering my usual XL, it still felt snug through the chest. I kept having to pull down the back of the dress because it would ride up and cause creases. So overall, I do feel like the sizing runs smaller than what is advertised. The length of the dress was also VERY short. I'm 5' 7" and the dress was well above the knee. Definitely not a dress I'd bend over in and that was another reason that prompted me to return the item. Overall, it's a shame I have to return it because I liked the color, feel and pockets. The size and length were determining factors for the return. It was way too short for my comfort and the sizing was not as accurate as i thought it would have been. If someone does end up buying this, maybe consider sizing up — especially if you have a fuller bust. ... show more

LOVE the denim fabric! It ran a little big, I usually take a large in a shirt and I got the large dress and it does fit OK with a T-shirt underneath, but I could’ve used a medium but all in all it’s very cute on. Love it❗️

I wear a XXL in 99% of items. I ordered this dress in a XXL and it runs very very very small!! . I wish it fit because it is a super cute dress. The style is lovely. The material is soft. Looks like I’ll be getting the one from old instead.
