I use these to hold together my origami animals. I like these rubber bands because they are thin and not too bulky so they do not ruin my origami work. If you are looking for a really strong hold, these are not the right width. You can wrap more than once and it is durable but not for heavy duty. My kids use these for their Barbie hair.
