I'm happy with this ribbon. The color is accurate, and so is the velvet texture. It's got a lot of body, which makes it kind of difficult to tie into a smaller bow, but that's a normal trade off for a thicker ribbon in a small width. I am getting my Christmas home presentation together and I have a number of fancy items ready for the day-after-Thanksgiving set-up. What I still needed was a simple ribbon border. I wanted red to wrap around a pillar (Candy Cane style) and to wrap around a wooden stairway banister. When I saw the red and the green, I realized I could use the green to border the entrance to my dining room, with various Christmas cards attached. These are perfect! The glittery sheen really brightens things up. I am very pleased with the thickness of these rolls, as well. I will be using the green in March for St. Patrick's Day. I used this for wrapping packages that I wanted to have a little vintage-y flair and it worked just great. I would say the color is a "nice" olive green... just a tad more green than olive, but definitely not like a kelly green, for instance. It is narrow (3/8") as described, so for the packages, I doubled it. It is very soft, and only one sided, so making a bow that looked good was a little tricky. I was willing to work with that though for the added "luxe" of the velvet texture. ... show more
