RFID "poaching" is evidently prevalent enough now that I wanted to explore protecting my (few) credit/bank cards from it. The Buffway safe wallet sounded like a good first try - reasonably attractive, good price point, reviews indicated it does protect against RFID attacks - so I ordered it. It is indeed "slim", and "minimalist" - I don't view it as a replacement for a 'full' wallet, with a number of non-electronic cards, photos, and some amount of cash. But, thinking of this as a supplement that will be dedicated to the cards I want to protect from electronic spies, while I continue to use my regular wallet for the pure paper stuff, it works just fine. It really doesn't add any bulk to my pocket, since most of its thickness comes from the cards - which were in my regular wallet's thickness before, so the only additional is the roughly 1/8" to 1/4" of the leather in this one. Works fine, carrying both at the same time. For what it is, it's attractive enough. Presuming it lasts (and it seems pretty sturdy to start with), I'm quite happy with it. (Note - I haven't tried to verify the RFID aspect, am taking the reviews at face value on that. YMMV)

My objective was to buy a wallet that was less bulky than the trifold style wallets that I have been using "forever."- wallets that would fit comfortably in a front pocket. I expected that the smaller size would come at the expense of capacity in terms of cards and money and accepted that possible tradeoff. What a pleasant surprise! The Buffway is much thinner not just a little thinner. Outside dimensions are only marginally more than my trifold. There is no capacity tradeoff. In fact, it holds all of the cards I had in my old wallet, with one slot open. Despite its smaller size,cards are easier to insert and remove than in my current trifold. There is no bulging. The stitching and overall craftsmanship are very good - in fact much better than my last two name brand wallets. The various slots are properly sized so that cards can be slipped out moderately easily. These last points - bulging, craftsmanship, ease of access - may seem like obvious considerations; however, they have been issues with several recent name brand wallets that cost much more. With my last wallet, I wondered if anyone had tested the wallet with real credit cards before putting the wallet on market - it was almost impossible to insert cards in a two slots, let alone remove them. It is rare these days to receive a product that even meets the claims made in its ads and which meets what should be obvious needs of average buyers. This wallet exceeds all claims made, and much more.

Gave up using a wallet in 2015 and have just been using a rubber band for a couple cards and some cash. 2024, decided to give a minimalist wallet a try. Searched for a bit and decided on this one. Good price point, the quality seems decent and is holding up to everyday carry. Holds my ID, a credit card, a couple membership cards, and some cash in the middle. Doesn’t get thick, is comfortable in my back pocket, and is small and light. Four stars due to the fact that the credit card is opposite the ID and tends to get stuck all the time. That could also be from infrequent use or a bit too much cash. Still a good product, would recommend keeping in mind it’s not a high-end product. It works for me and what I was expecting. Cannot confirm on the RFID blocking capabilities.

Great size for a front pocket wallet. Very sleek and thin. Can store a dozen cards and cash without causing the wallet to bulk. The RFID is a plus. Very durable. I've used daily for several months now and there is no sign of wear and tear. Would definitely recommend.

I try to have a wallet that actually fits my ID, and few credit cards, debit card, Insurance card, and some cash... but still is SUPER thin in my back pocket. I have owned several wallets, and usually I would buy a super thin flip fold and literally cut it in half and keep the part that holds the cards. Those metal wallets (like Ridge wallet) that are advertised as slim are NOT slim, and they are STUPID. Just what I want to sit on... a hunk of metal... so you have to put them in a front pocket where I have no room with my phone and keys... This wallet is THINNER than a thin flip fold wallet that I cut in half, holds all the cash, cards, ID and insurance cards I need. This is the literal perfect wallet I have been looking for for literally decades of my life. It is the literal perfect design. I've had it over a year and still also in perfect condition (not falling apart) and my wallets usually fall apart fast... which tends to happen when you cut them in half...
