Simple to use. Comes with a little stand so it’s appropriately positioned as a face would be. Comes with cleaning oil that wipes the face right off! Good array of brushes for practice. I even used some eyeliner I had and it came right off when I was done. Really good for improving my skill!

Kind of nightmare-inducing right out of the box, but obviously very helpful for practicing a full face of makeup. Love the brush set it comes with; the palette it came with however was largely useless. It's nice that it has a stand, but I wish it propped it at an upturned angle -- it is straight on, so you either need to hold it, or put it on a shelf or table level with your face to be able to see and work on it properly. The cleaning oil it came with works great, but some had clearly leaked out into the box. Overall this is a great tool that works well -- the accessories are just a little lacking.

This is quite an interesting thing. The fake face looks pretty real from the front side. It has a thin layer of silicone over a hard plastic. Just enough silicone to test makeup or face artwork on. The package comes with quite a few items (brushes, foam makeup pad, and a cake makeup kit) to get going testing the style or art you are going for. The silicone on top of plastic is thin but still enough that it allows a little bit of tactile sponginess like you would get with skin. The only complaint I have is that the stand is not perfectly secure in the mount on the back of the face so it might not be perfect to apply makeup to the face while it is on the stand. The stand is likely just for display purposes. All in all this is a very good kit to use to start out testing a design or artwork. It is pretty close to real skin so it should give for a good effect.
