I tried 2 of these as the first one was longer on one side than the other. I'm almost 5'4" and weigh about 168 pounds -36DD. I purchased an XL. The sleeves went down to my fingertips and the arms were huge around. The shirt itself was loose which is what I wanted cause I wanted to wear it as a jacket. The outside of the shirt was soft but the inside not so much. It wasn't itchy to me - just rougher than I like. It just did not fit me right. It seemed to be well made and the material was thick.
