This dress, first of all, is true to size. I have gotten so used to sizing up Amazon clothes, but in this case I could have ordered my size. The fabric is real fabric too, which you can never count on from Amazon... The fit around the chest is kind of loose, it could be more fitted, but also, I did order a size to big, so maybe in my size it would have been more fitted. I like the button at the chest, you can chose your level of modesty, cleavage or no cleavage! The length is as expected and as pictured. I cut the lining shorter to get more of the sheer look, and I like that better, but it looked cute the way it was before too. This dress is a win, you can dress it up or dress it down.

Overall for an Amazon dress, this is a great find! I have owned this dress for about 6 months and I came back to write this review. PROS: 1. SIZE- I bought this 4 months pregnant and (though it is not stretchy material) there was enough gathering in the waist that I was able to fit into it throughout the rest of my pregnancy. I am usually 155lbs and got up to about 190 lbs. at 38 weeks. 2. SHAPE- It is a flattering shape. The long length covers most of my leg, so I didn’t have to worry about shaving that much for fancy occasions (which is huge because, well, I was pregnant, haha). It is flowy, so it does not hug the body, which was nice for the time I felt like an overstuffed whale while pregnant. And it has a belt that you can tie to make it more flattering and shapely around your waist. 3. FUNCTION- It has a clasp at the V-neck, so it stays relatively modest (I do find myself pulling the neckline up sometimes after my 2 year old has been hanging on me). But being able to unclasp has provided easy breastfeeding access, so the switch from maternity to postpartum has been super convenient. CONS: Really the only con for me is material. It is the kind of swishy material that gets static-y easily. Using static spray helps, and it does have an under layer to help the top layer lay well, but it just doesn’t feel super awesome on my skin. This material also makes me sweat a lot- it does not breath well at all, which means it ends up smelling after I wear it for a summer occasion. If it wasn’t for this, this would be the only dress I own and I would have it in every color! Because of the material, I was always glad to take it off when my more fancy events was finished. But the flowy/flattering shape paired with the easy fit and breastfeeding access, I have found this is the dress I grab out of my closet time and time again during this stage of life! Update: It also washed in the washing machine well. However, it went through my dryer with a crayon, and no amount of work could get the smeared crayon out of the dress. I had to just throw the dress away. I have not repurchased the dress, mainly because it’s winter here now. But I’m not sure if I will repurchase at all because of the material type. I might try a dress in similar style but made from cotton or linen specifically.

I like this dress because the style is very forgiving if you have some extra midsection volume … I wore it for my daughter’s baptism when I was postpartum and feeling not myself physically. The color is very nice but I was super pale so I did look a bit washed out. It is super lightweight and comfortable. My biggest complaint is … WRINKLES ON FLEEK. I steamed it and used downy wrinkle release spray. Alas, one car ride later it was like I took it out of a tiny package after being folded up for 84 years. Every picture from the baptism I had to crop my dress out because the wrinkles. The wrinkles are the first thing you notice in the photos.. not the beautiful angle washed of her original sign in her floor length lace gown and bonnet.
