This dress is of similar quality to Nordy’s junior dept, actually nicer in some regards (there’s actually cotton in it!). You may have noticed that a few other sellers are using the same pattern/selling the same style of this dress. I’ve bought at least 3 from different sellers, and this is BY FAR the highest quality with the nicest looking material (looks and feels like cotton instead of cheap shiny rayon). -The button on the stretchy underbust/waist band on this dress is fake, which preserves the integrity of the band and stops it from gaping or pulling (all the buttons on the skirt portion are fake, which I’m happy about, less room for wardrobe malfunction/weird bunching, etc). The buttons over the bust are real so you can control your cleavage level or show off a cami underneath if you’re layering. -The pockets lay nicely and don’t bulge out weirdly!! Yay! -The material is jersey t shirt weight with some stretch, super comfy, but not so thin that you can see through it- I can’t see any bra details while wearing a smooth cup T-shirt bra. At least with the darker colors, anyway. I haven’t seen any of the light colors in person. - I have black and came back for the army green, which is a BEAUTIFUL muted darker color. Great for people who don’t do bright colors, but want options other than just black and gray. -Comfortable!! I feel like I’m wearing pj’s outside and fooling everyone. Wearable year round with various types of layering (or none in summer), and office friendly with a cardigan if bare arms are a no no where you work due to the length/style. -choose your size based on your bust. I have a larger bust (32-34G right now but normally a 32F), and went with M because I don’t mind a half inch of cleavage, and want it to still fit as I get back down to my normal weight. It does look empire style on me with the waistband just under my bust, but doesn’t look weird or like it’s not supposed to be like that. Shoulder seams are still in the correct place, and it’s loose below the waistband but in a flattering A shape without a ton of excess fabric, so it doesn’t look like maternity wear on me (although it could probably be used for that!) So the dress is ok, fit as expected. I was looking for a cotton or cotton blend material tho and this has none. It says 30 percent in the description so that's inaccurate. Solid navy blue. Shipping took a while, it said ships from Amazon but this came right from China and had to wait in customs for a bit. I wish I could find more regular clothing brands and not all the same cheap polyester stuff from these weird brands.

I am 5'1". I ordered a large which was recommended. I agree with the reviews that this is a great looking dress and nice quality. The dress fit me but because I am short waisted, the elastic was at my waist instead of up on my ribs, so it did not fit right on me. Not the fault of the dress. I loved it, but it just didn't work.

There was a lingering smell of the dye right out of the package, but it went away after one wash. A large flatters my 5’0” tall/40C/32” waist perfectly without alterations (the chest might be too revealing for some), the quality is pretty good, and the pockets are great. I’ll probably buy it in another color soon.
