Very stretchy but also thick and supportive so it won’t fall down and it doesn’t show any underwear lines or cellulite. This dress exceeded my expectations. I thought it would be a thin material and show all my lumps and bumps. But the fabric is thick, ribbed, and so substantial it glides over most of the lumps i have. The strapless top felt like it would stay on for hours without slipping down. I had to return the dress because I have a mid-life tummy that could not be hidden in the dress but if I can get that off then I'm buying this dress again. I almost kept it and said to hell with the stomach lump. The color is gorgeous. You will feel so glamorous in it! I ordered a Large and I'm 5'6" 160 pounds. I wear a 12/14 dress.
