For reference; I’m 5’6” tall, weight 140-145, 39” bust, 29” waist, 38” hips. I loved the wow-factor of the contrasting black bricka-brack against the pretty ivory background. It’s fashionable and timeless. This piece will be worn for years to come. Something like this never goes out of style. Just swap out shoes, and the other accessories, and you’ll have more than gotten your money’s worth out of it. I wore this dress for Resurrection Sunday. I plan to wear it again on Pentecost Sunday. This dress is more a tea length, and not long enough to be a maxi dress. Although it hits below the knees, it’s too long to be considered a midi. Furthering the femininity of this dress is that back tie. As you can see from my pics where I’m still getting ready, this dress has a tie at the upper back. This is key for making sure the sleeves don’t slouch and show bra straps. This dress’s skirt portion is fully lined, but due to the ivory color and the very nature of the fabric, it still requires a half slip (one from the waist down) because without a half slip you can still see the outline of your legs in normal daylight outside. The top section of the dress is smocked with elastic threading so it’s stretchy and form fitting to your upper body. To me, this dress is a special occasion dress for when a formal is just a little too much, but an everyday dress is not quite dressy enough. This is either going to have to be taken to the dry cleaners, or thrown in your dryer with dry cleaning sheets, to be freshened up. I’m on the fence about whether throwing it in the gentle cycle in cold water is a good idea as the care tag on the dress states. My concern is that it would be so very crinkled up that it would take forever to iron it out. I did have to iron this when it arrived at my door step. Iron on low setting and have a spray bottle of distilled water to mist one section at a time while ironing. Like I mentioned earlier, this is a special occasion dress that hits all the right notes. You’ll exude class in this classic dress. You won’t regret having this one in your wardrobe.

I live this dress! Super comfy with a lightweight material, slightly see through recommend slip underneath or slip shorts. The fit was true to size and a little room, not too tight or snug. I loved the drop waist, super flattering silhouette. The blue is perfect for spring and summer. The price is not bad either, I felt I was wearing a designer dress but half the price. I ordered two, the light khaki first. The color did not suit me at all, but the fit was perfect, so I ordered the red. Love the fit. As someone who is more petite and pear shaped I find that smalls are often too big on top but the fit was perfect. So yes, it does run small but this time it was in my favor. Material was nice and my only complaint is that I wish the Rick rack trim went all the way around the waist.

Bought this dress for Easter and also wore it to a Mother’s Day Brunch! I love the length of the dress, it’s super flattering in the body and very comfortable to wear. It’s a thinner fabric and not to thick, really great for Spring and Summer. It was also modest enough for larger chests. I am thinking of buying this in multiple colors.

I just received this dress & it is absolutely beautiful! I really love the material and the puffy sleeves, how it’s made as a whole. I especially love the trim along waist & bottom of the dress. I chose solid beige color and couldn’t be more pleased. Plan to wear this once the warmer weather officially arrives. Will be worn a lot this summer with gladiator sandals & flat shoes. Maybe even add a cinch belt as an added accessory! I got an X-Large size to ensure plenty of room in case I gain a few additional pounds. I stand 5”2 and the dress comes to my feet so it may need a slight alteration but not much. Great purchase & thanks again Amazon!

Really cute! Comes to my ankles and I’m 5’5”. I am going To rip the lower Rick rack off and shorten dress to calf and then sew Rick rack back on. It’ll only be about 3” from the other row of Rick rack. Wish they didn’t make these dresses so long. The average lady is not 5’8”. More like 5’4”. I normally wear xl but too small. I had to reorder and get xxl and it fit fine. Size up.
