This made for a really comfortable, stylish dress for a wedding. I wouldn't recommend wearing this dress in cooler climates, it is good quality but it's nice and breezy and actually cools you off. There isn't much stretch but this dress is meant to fit loose to gather in all the right places. I sized up and it really was perfect. Like I said, it's a light functional dress. You can dance the night away. It is not lined but the material is completely opaque and very wearable. My stance doesn't do this dress any favors in the picture. This dress was absolutely gorgeous for the birthday party—I loved how it hugged my curves and fit perfectly in all the right places. The only downside is that it’s dry clean only, which makes it a little less convenient to wear often.

It hangs well and helps hide belly fat, elegant and casual. BUT, the fabric will show EVERYTHING. Panty lines, cellulite, rolls, etc. You'll likely need a slip, or at least a bodyshaper and no show panties. Also the static cling can get pretty bad, which does NOT help with the aforementioned issues. Despite all of that, I love how it feels and how it looks. It's stretchy and flexible, with cool, smooth fabric. Would buy again... actually might buy a different color right now!

I wore this dress to a Filipina debut party and got so many compliments! I wanted something that looked classy but still had that subtle glam, and this dress delivered. The satin fabric is beautiful and looks more expensive in person. It flowed really nicely and had a soft shine that looked great in photos. The ruching is super flattering, it hugged in the right places without feeling tight, and the lapel with the button-down design gave it a more elevated vibe than a basic satin dress. I felt super confident wearing it. I went with the navy color and paired it with some simple heels and gold jewelry, and the whole look came together effortlessly. The dress does run a bit long if you're on the shorter side (I'm around 5'2"), so it looked more like a maxi on me, which I didn’t mind at all, it made it feel even more formal. The slit on the side added a nice touch too, not too high, just right for moving and dancing comfortably. Honestly, it’s one of those dresses you can rewear to other events like weddings or special dinners. It’s comfortable, elegant, and makes you feel put-together without trying too hard. I’m already eyeing another color!

I listened to other reviewers and I sized up! I normally wear a medium and I ordered the XL I’m glad I did because it really made the dress lay well with the layers hanging in the front. The tighter it is on you, the less you will see the layers hanging in the front. So if you like the way it looks on the model in the picture, order up a size or two. It really is gorgeous. I wore to a wedding and received a lot of compliments. Also, this dress is great if you have areas you are self conscious about. It gives you a waist even if you don’t have one! It is a very nice and comfortable material. The navy blue was not see-thru at all. You can also undo buttons at the bottom or the top to make a sexier look. As other reviews stated, it is very wrinkled upon arrival, which is to be expected, but I steamed them out quite easily.

First, it’s a pretty dress. I ordered a size up and I’m glad I did - I think it likely fits better and looks more like the product image with a little extra room. Second, I recommend wearing a slip underneath - it seemed to make the dress appear and feel like it was better quality than it actually is. The material thickness is just average. The most annoying thing about this dress - and it was EXTREMELY annoying - was how virtually impossible it was to iron. I spent about two hours trying to get wrinkles out of it - eventually ignored the care instructions and cranked up the temperature, and that seemed to work the best… but as soon as I stepped outside, the wrinkles and creases just magically returned. Oddly enough, after I had worn the dress all day, the wrinkles seemed to go away. (Maybe it was gravity? 😆) In summary, you get what you pay for: an average quality, decent-looking dress that requires some adjustment and work to look like the actual product image.

This was my first choice to wear to speak at a conference, and when I first tried it on I absolutely loved it. I was so excited to wear it at the conference, unfortunately, it was really difficult to get the wrinkles out. It looked like it had been crumpled in a bag for the last three years even with the hotel steamer I could not Make it suitable to wear in public. I think it would be a great option if you’re not traveling, and it doesn’t have to be packed into a suitcase. Other than the wrinkles, it is a beautiful color, a great fit, very soft and very comfortable and appropriate for either a business meeting or a more casual wedding guest look.
