I'm very much an ametur. I used to go bowling 1-2 times a week with a friend in college a few years ago and really enjoyed it. We Just picked the game back up and decided to start bowling once a week during public/cosmic for exercise and fun (different alley/town). Tired of getting random balls every time and have always wanted my own ball. I decided on this one because it was cheap, had good reviews, and knew it would look unique enough to keep other random people from using it since no one seems to give a crap @ cosmic. I was hoping it would look good under black lights and it does glow somewhat, but not enough to be "super cool". My bowling alley got my fitment spot on and I went for "no curve", hoping that I could always use this as my straight ball if I ever got a second one with a curve. Having used it for a few times since the drilling, I can tell you that the feel of the finger holes is unlike any other ball I've ever used. It feels chalk-like or like sandstone. I'm not sure if that will ever change, but I'm not too concerned either way since it doesn't change my (Limited) game. I can tell you that I really like this ball. I'd recommend it for anyone who is wanting it for straight bowling and doesn't have much cash. ... show more

Bought it to use for my spare ball. Nice polyester coverstock so it doesn't hook much at all. It's cool to see the swirly colors as it's rolling down the lane. I'm not a big cracker so there's not a ton of rotation, causing the colors to blend into one gray mess. And it does go nice and straight, even with the rotation. Love the ball.     • Beautiful and mesmerizing
I received the ball yesterday, and got it drilled this afternoon. Bowled two games with it 169, and 202. It's quite an eye catcher as it goes down the lanes to be sure. As per the disclaimer, the two halves do not match up. Not a problem though, you can't tell as it's going down the lane.
