I recently moved from a tropical climate to Oregon. I heard these were great boots, so I gave them a try. What a bargain! They look & feel like pricey hiking boots from a specialty store, but cost a fraction of the price. I wore them for a few errands & realized they ran a bit large, so I put cheap drugstore inserts in them for a 5 mile hike in the rain. Perfect! My feet are warm, dry & feel great. Highly recommend.

These came right away & I really like how these look. They fit well with socks although my large toe slightly strikes the side wall in the right boot. It doesn't hurt, but is distracting. They fit well at the ankle and are insulated throughout. The only reason these don't get a 5 star rating is the right foot fit & the fact these aren't leather boots that I can waterproof with mink oil. But these should work just fine for my purposes.
