These shoes look really good in the description and are very cheap, but would recommend 10 out of 10 times to just get the equivalent shoe at a local department store near you. These shoes literally fell apart just sitting in the box and haven’t had the opportunity to wear them once. Every piece of this shoe literally came unglued! See pictures. The shoes themselves are so bad in condition even if they didn’t come unglued. They smell soooo bad! I wore them for maybe 2 minutes to see how they fit, and crease marks were already permanent on the shoe. Please save yourself the time and money and do not buy.

I do not wear dress shoes very often so I did not want to spend a lot of money on a pair to wear for a weekend in Vegas, but I still wanted to look nice while out and about. Initially I had two major concerns with these shoes. First, I have wide feet and was very skeptical about ordering shoes without trying them on first. Secondly, these seemed to be WAY too cheap to be of any quality. Ultimately I decided to give them a shot knowing that Amazon would accept them as a returned product. Upon receiving the shoes (black Prince 5) I was impressed to the look and feel, but as a non-fashion savvy guy who usually wears cargo shorts, a t-shirt, and flip-flops I really would not expect anyone to trust my fashion sense. Exhibit 1: I knew I was onto something when my teenaged daughter got home and saw my outfit. She skipped commenting on my dress shirt and slacks and her first comment was "I LOVE your shoes!" Exhibit 2: My daughter's opinion was further validated once my wife saw what I planned on wearing. Now I am sure you are thinking "They are your family and of course they will say that kind of stuff." Exhibit 3: Once we got to Vegas for our upscale night out with 5 other couples, each of the ladies also complimented my shoes and asked their significant others why they didn't have shoes like mine. Long story short, these shoes are a great value, look great, and are very comfortable to walk in, so if you are a regular dude who has no clue about fashion, these are a great way to impress that special someone for your night out.

reading the reviews I thought the shoe would be narrow, I have a wide foot, I was debating to go up a size but went with my original size and the shoe fits perfect and comfortable. The sole of the shoe is slick so make sure you wear them where you can scuff them up a bit, otherwise you will be slipping on tile wood and marble floors. so far I am happy with them and their price point. I do smell the chemical smell some talk about, but hoping that having them on for a day or two will ge rid of the odor. so far I am satisfied

4 stars due to the smell of the shoe when delivered. You will need to unpack these shoes and let them air out for a few days before wearing as the smell that they give off is very potent. Update 10/27/2016 I have owned these shoes for almost a year now and have worn them around 20 times. They have also been left outside of the box for the whole time I have owned them...they still smell horrible. You will not be able to wear these shoes in any office environment as the smell is far too strong and you will either get a headache from it or your co-workers will complain and ask what the horrible smell is. Sure, they do look great, but the smell is one that cannot be masked. I have tried inserts, cologne, Axe spray, arm and hammer baking soda...I have tried it all and they still smell like I soaked them in gasoline for a few hours.

To begin with I was skeptical about these shoes due to the price, I have seen similar styles at department stores for three times the price so as you can imagine I wasn't sold on a $30 pair of dress shoes. However in the brief amount of time I have owned and worn these I have been highly impressed. I have less than 50 miles of walking time in on these shoes so I can't speak to durability but they do look great and are very comfortable. The only complaint I have is with the lacing. I re-laced mine and had issues fitting the lace through one of the bottom holes, but a little persuasion with a pocket knife and we are good to go. Over all I do recommend these shoes.

I've had this pair of shoes now for about a month and have been wearing them nearly every day. They fit as expected. As other reviewer's have noted, the soles of the shoes are very slippery when they are brand-new. However, after wearing them around outside for a day or two, they get all scratched up and are therefore not slippery anymore. As with all new shoes, one needs to wear them for four or five days in order for them to get broken in and stretched. The shoes are super comfortable and, as I mentioned, I have been wearing them nearly every day for 8 to 10 hours each day. I just bought another pair of the same shoe in a different color – that's how much I enjoy them! Some people have complained about the strong smell when they take the shoes out of the package for the first time. Yes, there is an odor that is typical of most new shoes. However, I have found that after about a week or so, the odor dissipates.

Great looking shoe. A 9.5 (my sneaker size) looked and fit huge on my foot so I went and ordered a 9 and 8.5 to find my size. I stuck with the 8.5 and returned the rest. Now that I've had these 2-3 months I should of stuck with the 9. I didn't factor in the comfort of having a shoe on for hours. And oh yea...the smell is as advertised lol. Definitely air them out when you get them.

I'm a size 15 triple "E"! Suffice it to say, I usually have to special order shoes at about $100.00 a pop or more and hope they fit (oftentimes, not). These fit perfectly out of the box. Very comfortable, don't believe the negative reviews, like..."smells like fuel, etc." written by some soy boys or something. They don't smell, also, they appear to be well made. I ordered a second. pair, and look forward to getting them. They are great shoes. I strongly recommend them without hesitation. Update, ordered 2 more pairs; all fit perfect, no smell at all.
