Be sure not to get anything slightly oily on the shoe, it may soak it in and stain it a darker brown, but if you like that I could see staining the whole shoe. For the money, these shoes are great. They look and feel like much more expensive wing tip shoes. I was afraid they may be too tight because I have a wide foot, but they actually are quite comfortable. They have kept a shine for a good while now. Again, for the money, if they wear out within a year, then I'll just buy another pair.

Reviews were saying they fit a bit long than normal. i have wide feet. got the normal one, fits a little snug but comfortable for me. The toes do seem a bit long. but my toe crease lands on the toe cap stitching, right where i like it. Overall fits well, very good looking shoe. has designs on the insides of the shoe as well, simple flair that no one sees.

I have had about 6 Marc Bruno shoes as I do a ton of indoor and outdoor walking for work. These are beautiful but I am in the auto sales business and am frequently in the detail shop. I had some water fall on my shoes and it does stain sadly and I drive a manual transmission so it creases fairly easy. Good value for money though.

... there are some issues. The shoes are a bit stiff, probably due to the synesthetic leather, but I expect they will break in after being worn a couple of times. The sole & heal are a bit thin, stitching is not what it is on a higher end or mid- level shoe, but that's to be expected at this price point. Look, at the end of the day, these shoes look good, and are a very good value, as long as you don't plan to wear them that often. Years ago, I used to spend a lot of money on shoes like Bally, Florsheim, Ferragamo, etc., because it was necessary for me to keep up a first class wardrobe due to my business. Now that I no longer need to spend that kind of money anymore, because I'm almost always in jeans, shorts and sweats, there's no need to spend $200 plus on a pair of shoes I might only wear 3-4 times year. Bottom line? If you plan to wear these shoes, even once a week, I would consider upgrading to a better quality brand. If not, and you're just looking for a nice looking shoe to wear once in a while, when you dress up, these are a really good deal.
