First off, I really enjoy high-quality, goodyear welted shoes with nice full-grain leather. These shoes are none of those things. However, I was looking for a decent pair of work (office) shoes I could wear during the winter months, and not have to destroy my nicer shoes in the salt and snow. These shoes serve that purpose very well. When I first opened the box, I noticed that the shoes seem to be made quite well for inexpensive no-name shoes. The fit and finish is great, and is consistent on both shoes. There is no exposed glue, loose seams, etc... Even though the leather isn't full-grain, it's still genuine leather, and has a nice finish on it. When I first wore them, they were comfortable, albeit the leather in the heels was a bit stiff- and rubbed a little until it broke in. I never got a blister, and this process only took a few wears to soften the leather enough to alleviate the rubbing. I have recently compared these to similar style Nautica shoes, and found the craftsmanship on the Bruno Marcs to far exceed the Nautica's. I don't own the original Cole Haan's; but I have a couple buddies who do, and they thought I was wearing Cole Haan's. When I told them they were just cheap Amazon knock-offs, they were surprised, and wanted me to send them a link to them. IMO, the Cole Haan's are not a good deal at all. They are just as expensive as high-quality goodyear welted shoes; but they cannot be resoled like GYW shoes, and they won't last nearly as long. They are basically an athletic shoe with a mid-grade full-grain leather upper. There is no way they should ever cost more than $100, yet they do. That is why I feel the Bruno Marc's are a MUCH better buy. They look just as nice, and should last just as long as the Cole Haan's. These are probably the best $40 shoes I've purchased.

I was looking for comfortable walking dress shoes, brown in color, and somewhat understated. These for the bill visually. I usually tear through shoes with thinner soles, and find them very uncomfortable without added insoles to accommodate my feet. So far (only about a month of wear) these shoes are very comfortable and provide adequate cushion and support for longer days at the office or travel days. Some things I've noticed so far: 1. They're definitely about a half size too large. I'm a 12 in all brands, but these I could stand to wear an 11.5 (which they don't offer). 2. I've noticed my feet sweat a bit more in these shoes (sorry, maybe TMI). Generally shoes dry out after I've been sitting for a bit, but these seem to keep the moisture in. Little concerned about smell now, too. 3. The soles of these shoes seem to be wearing a little quicker than I might've expected. The bottom of the shoe is very soft, which is likely what gives the shoe it's comfortable feature, but may be a detrimental to longevity. Generally I get a year out of dress shoes, but I'm not optimistic for these. All in all, I'd recommend at the price point after one month of wearing, but might reassess that evaluation in a few more months.

These are obviously knock-offs of the popular Cole Haan shoes, at about 2/3 the price. They are comfortable, well-cushioned, and surprisingly stylish, better looking in person than the picture shows. There are trade-offs in materials quality: within one day, the rubber on the bottom of the sole began to fray; the stitching is inconsistent; the leather-like material is very stiff; and the shoelaces are ridiculously thin and cheap. As long as you don't expect them to last forever, these shoes are an affordable, comfortable option for occasional use. I doubt they would last long if you wore them everyday.

Turns out the product is all that it is advertised and then some more! Feels really good on my feet and matches my outfits great. I strongly recommend this shoe!

Better then cole haan in fitting and walking and Quietly even not bed cole haan use good leather but this one is mix leather I buy 8 pair from amazon including cole haan but all of them has something wrong but Bruno Marc is best I don’t knew how long lasting but best shoes for me.thanx if cole haan not fit and feel tight plz try this one .

These shoes get me more compliments than any pair of shoes I have ever owned. And, I love talking about them because they are extremely comfortable - like tennis shoes. They are also better fitting, softer, and have more comfortable soles than the Cole Hanns I have that look similar. Oh, and half the price!

I originally bought an 11.0D because that's what I wear in Brooks Running shoes, but I wear a 10.5 in Nike. This fits more like a Nike so hope that helps for sizing. The color is perfect and it looks great with jeans, khakis, or my slacks. They are very comfortable to walk in and do not rub. My only complaint is that the material is "pleather" and the durability is yet to be seen. It's a great buy for the money IMHO.
