I used this shoe product for bartending and nursing. They work great with preventing any slips; however, it feels a bit tall for what it's worth. You will feel a slight imbalance, but it's still a great pair of shoes to wear.

I saw the good reviews and I went ahead and bought them because they were on sale. I've worked in kitchens for 20 years. I've owned 2 dozen pairs of non slip kitchen shoes. These are very narrow. I don't wear a wide, I have size 13 shoes. These took about 3 weeks to break in. It was hard honestly. My toes were sore, my heel had blisters, my arches ached because it felt like they just squeezed my feet. They feel ok now. Very slip-resistant, great traction. Just tight. Very tight. I really like these shoes. I am in my 80's and I like the non slip and hands free, slip in on these shoes. If you fall once at my age you will know what I mean. They are a bit small so I would order them a 1/2 size larger. P.S. I don't work in a kitchen.

Honestly, I've only worn these for a shift - but for fit and "non-slipability" I really can't complain. Not sure if they're waterproof, but we'll see! They seem pretty durable and like a generally good value for the money spent. They're lightweight too, which is always nice. On another note Amazon recommend me a size ten, which seems to be the right choice! ... show more
