Unlike most of the "oxfords" here on Amazon (most of them are actually derby or bluchers), these are actually oxford style shoes. You can tell because of the closed lacing and the lack of flaps. I doubt these are actually real leather, at best, maybe a thin piece of leather on top of fabric, or more likely, leather particles glued to PU backing. Most likely they're some kind of imitation leather. Either way, they do polish up very well and look very sharp when they are. Looks much better than the pair of faux patent leather dress shoes issued to me as part of my dress uniform as they don't look like shiny plastic.
