I thought these looked nice in the pictures and decided to buy them to try them out. I have been thinking of ordering a brand name pair similar to these, but have never owed any double monk strap style shoes. This was the perfect solution to test the waters, as these were about $50, and the brand name ones I like are about $250-$400. I have been so surprised right from the start! The box and packaging even exceeded expectations. There was a strange smell when I opened the box, but it dissipated pretty quickly. The shoes look amazing in person, especially considering the low price point. The upper is not leather, but most people would be able to tell just by glancing at them. The sole is rubber, which makes them comfortable to walk in. I will say, as far as new shoes go, these are some of the most comfortable dress shoes I have bought in a while that were this comfortable before even being broken in. I did not know how the strap system would work, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found that there was an elastic band paired to each strap, making these easier to get on and off. Getting them on can be a bit of a challenge at first, since they have to be tight enough to not slip off when you are walking. Just buy a cheap shoe horn for a few dollars and it will make it so much easier for you (not to mention, it helps prevents you from damaging the upper by twisting and jamming your foot in the shoe). I hope these shoes hold up for a while, because they look amazing and are sold at such a cheap price point. I may end up buying the remaining color options based off of how much I like this first pair!

This is supposed to be a good brand and the quality of the stitching is horrible, so be very careful. -Update- The seller sent me. a new pair and wore it today, stitching Is good now, guess the one I had 1st was bad. Thank you for seller for rectifying this. Would recommend them as a top seller

Purchase these two days before a wedding, for my husband. It was an emergency and so grateful Amazon was able to deliver them within 24 hours. The leather is very nice. The shoe looks like a $500 shoe and the wide fit was perfect for standing all day and evening for him. I have bought both the brown and the black one of these shoes and like the brown one so much so, I bought another pair for family. Extreme elite look at work if you dress in a polo or a button down up to a suit. Used in court and at Division training events!
