When I buy a pair of "dressy casual" shoes online for under $45, I always moderate my expectations. In this instance, though, my expectations were greatly exceeded. It's too soon to assess durability, but these shoes look like they should should cost over a hundred dollars. The materials and craftsmanship seem to be of really good quailty, and they are quite comfortable as well. Overall, a very pleasant surprise.

Surprisingly comfortable. Good value. I wore them in Italy around Milan and they felt as good as my older favorite shoes. I am a little worried about the materials holding up over the long haul. They go well with smart casual and business dress. Could be worn with jeans or slacks, and a sports shirt or turtle neck with sports coat, but probably not with a suit or coat with a tie. Be aware the toes are pointed but not terribly so.

Got these are a pair of more casual dress shoes for the office. They started out great -- good looks and pretty comfortable. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. These shoes lasted about 8 months as a 5-day-a-week shoe. After just 2-3 months the sole was detaching at the inside of the heel on both shoes and the stitching was fraying. Can't say I do a ton of walking to have worn them out so quickly. Base of the sole is also wearing through. Would recommend if you just need a causal dress shoe for once in a while, but you won't get longevity out of this shoe.
