I have been using the Maui Babe Bronzing lotion for a long time! I love the tan I get from it. I recommend using a dark bathing suit as sometimes it can stain. A lot of people complain about the smell - I've gotten used to it, it doesn't bother me as much. Of course, its not my favorite smell but the tan outweighs the smell for me. I apply sunscreen then add the lotion on top. I have done the lotion first and sunscreen after too. Just like being in any sun, you have to reapply the sunscreen. You can still get very burnt using this. I recommend being cautious with it. It works and you do not need to sit out for a really long time. Maui Babe is a go to in my beach bag! ... show more

SUPER EXCITED to try this out!! Some people were complaining about the formula of this and how some bottles they were getting were a lot darker, it seems just about the same to me! There were SO many reviews saying tanners exploded or that they were leaking upon opening. Mine arrived in great condition, so was immediately pleased by that. Also, SMELL. I was worried about what I would actually be getting! The smell is not that bad - kind of like soy sauce - but goes away once dry. I recommend (like so many others) that you GET A BASE TAN or else you WILL BURN. It is literally an oil, yā€™all. It has some color of its own so my skin was looking very glowy right after I applied it. FINAL NOTE: it stains. Like really stains. So be careful and donā€™t wear your brand new suit like I did :( All in all, happy tanning! ... show more

Easily spreads without streaks and moisturizes as well, this browning lotion will give a lovely glow to even the whitest of us! Unable to ā€œtanā€, Iā€™ve been grateful for the healthy, tan result I get with this browning lotion. I know it works great to maximize sun tans as well based on my friendā€™s use, but I apply after every shower to maintain a healthy color on my otherwise almost reflective white skin šŸ˜‰. Somewhat oily after initial application, you need to wait a bit before putting on anything close to your skin, but Iā€™ve never had it stain any clothing (including white pants). Iā€™m actually the palest person ever and have never been able to get truly tan in the summer ever. I used fake tanner often but have never gotten a genuine tan from being outside. I had my doubts that this would work especially because I was recommended to apply 30 SPF sunscreen before. I was WAY wrong. I only was outside for an hour total and i got darker than I have been any other summer. Still definitely pale, but for me it made a huge difference. I didnā€™t have any weird reactions from it and it was pretty moisturizing. It is a bit greasy so definitely lay on a towel you donā€™t mind getting a bit dirty. The smell also isnā€™t awful to me. It smells mostly like coffee but nothing unnatural. I definitely will continue to use this and I canā€™t believe the results I got after one use. ... show more
