I've not given a 5-Star rating at this point only because I just put the covers in place a few days ago. As photo shows, they are repelling the rain water effectively. The material is lighter in gauge than my grill cover but seems to be substantial enough to hold up to the heavier elements like snow and prolonged exposure to sunlight. Time will tell.
