I’m really happy with these Brooks Revel 7 running shoes. They’ve quickly become my go-to shoes for both running and everyday wear because they check all the boxes for comfort and function. Cushioning without the bulk: These shoes have excellent cushioning that provides plenty of support and comfort for my feet. What I particularly appreciate is that Brooks managed to pack in all that cushioning while keeping a lower profile design. Some heavily cushioned shoes feel clunky or make your feet look oversized, but these have a sleeker look while still delivering the comfort I need. Perfect for bunions: I have bunions, and finding shoes that don’t cause pain or pressure can be challenging. These don’t hurt my bunions at all, which is a huge deal for me. The fit and construction don’t create any painful pressure points, and I can wear them for extended periods - whether I’m running, walking, or just out and about - without discomfort. Versatile performance: I’ve had these for about a year now and use them both in the gym and outside. They work great for my walking routine, perform well on the elliptical, and provide the support I need for functional training exercises. The cushioning holds up whether I’m on gym floors, pavement, or trails. Having one pair of shoes that can handle multiple activities has been really convenient. Comfort and durability: The neutral support works well for my gait, and the shoes feel stable without being restrictive. They were comfortable right out of the box with minimal break-in time needed. After a year of regular use across different activities, they’re still holding up well and providing the same level of comfort and support. Bottom line: If you need well-cushioned running shoes that won’t aggravate bunions and prefer a lower-profile look over chunky sneakers, the Brooks Revel 7 is an excellent choice.     • Comfortable shoes, unattractive design features

The best pair of shoes I own are Revel 6, but they’re hard to find, so I tried the Revel 7. I like the 7’s because they don’t have the overly wide clown shoe toe box, so they’re a more attractive shoe. They fit well and have good support overall, although not enough for my high arches, but I can use my own orthotics. These have good quality sports laces that stay tied and aren’t so long I have to double tie them. There’s a cloth ribbon that runs up the center of the tongue on top of it, and the laces go through it. The stitching is sloppy at the end of the ribbon, and it’s very noticeable on shoes that the stitching is a contrasting color with the color of the ribbon. The collar around the shoe opening is covered in knit which doesn’t look like it will wear well. I’m also concerned about how the cloth loops that hold the laces will hold up, but only a few reviews mentioned them breaking. I found a color combination in the light pink that works for me, and they’re SO comfortable. I recommend them. ... show more

Comfortable and I like the way they look. Nice bright pink. Fit as expected. I've had them 6 months and I walk about 10-15 miles a week in them. They don't seem very durable as they more worn than I would expect. The tread is worn out on the balls of the feet and the fabric is destroyed at the top close to the laces. ... show more

These shoes are not nearly as cushiony as other running shoes I have (Brooks and Asics) -- and that's what I was looking for - I find them stable, comfortable for walking, and a good option for lifting at the gym.     • Run small - very tight

I ordered a half size up from what I normally wear - I've always done this for running shoes since it's normal for feet to swell slightly when running. However, these were so small I had to check the box to make sure this was even the size I ordered (it was) because they were so small! They fit length-wise, but they were so tight across right at the base of the laces, it wasn't something I could let out to allow any more room and it was very painful. I've never had this issue before as I have very narrow feet as it is, so it was weird that they were so tight like this, and only in this one area. (Toe area was totally fine) I returned them and ordered a different brand because I didn't think a larger size would help as they would then be too long. ... show more
