These are really comfortable. I like a lot of arch support. These are great. They are not hot because the air flows just right through them. My foot doesn't slide. I could easily go without socks, but I like small footies. The good thing is that the shoe above the socks is very soft and I didn't have any rubbing from the day I got them. I have worn them every day for more than a month and they are not stretching out at all. Super comfortable and seem like they will last a long time. There is one small downside. The light purple rubber sides have started to yellow a bit. It is not super obvious, but I would have preferred they stayed purple...

I’m a big Brooks fan and had an almost identical pair I had worn out from the daily walk. These absolutely destroyed my heels the first time I wore them…like I had to stop walking for about a week, and I usually walk between 4-7 miles per day. After the heels healed and the calluses were pretty serious, I tried again, and they’re fine. I’d say to be sure to tape your heels with KT tape or something until you know you have them fully broken in. It may have been my fault, but I just put them on and went for the seven miles without thinking. I paid for that.

I love these shoes now that I’ve broken them in. They were a little tight at first which is weird because I don’t have wide feet. It took about a week of wearing them and a blister but now they are fine and I wear them all the time!

I love Brooks. These just showed up this week and they are really nice. I gave it 4 stars because they are a bit narrow. I have a very narrow foot to begin with so if I feel like they are narrow that is saying something. I definitely have to wear a thin sock with them. They have good support though and have been comfortable so far.
